2 Conferencing at AccRoss College The new state-of-the-art Heartwood Conference Centre boasts brand new facilities designed for businesses of all sizes and located within easy reach of Junction 7 of the M65 and other motorway connections. There are two meeting rooms, the Elm Suite and the Oak Suite, which can be adapted to host events for between 10 and 80 delegates. We have also launched our fine dining Roots Restaurant, which can lend itself perfectly to business events, whether that s a small meeting for colleagues or a full scale prestigious event catering for 80 delegates. Every customer is treated as an individual and recognised to have different needs. Event organisers can select from a range of room layouts and hospitality packages to match their event. The rooms are well equipped with: Fast wireless networking. The latest 65 full HD touch screen displays with high quality sound bars and speakers. High performance touch screen computers. Professional lecterns and microphones. In the restaurant, we can provide one of the 65 screens complete with a laptop should the space be booked for a conference. Customers can choose to use our equipment/pcs or bring their own laptops. Additional equipment that can be booked includes: Public address (PA) system with microphone. HD video camera with tripod. Presentation remote. 16 x ipad set. If you require support in setting up/testing the equipment the college IT Services team would assist. We look forward to hosting your event.

In Roots Restaurant we use only the very best produce, which is locally sourced, in all of our menus. The restaurant is also fully licenced offering a range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. The dishes listed have been created and individually priced so that you can tailor your menu to suit your budget. The conference facilities are easily accessed by car, bus and train. By car The region s motorway network is within 10 minutes drive away (M65 / M61 / M6). By bus There are frequent buses to the immediate area as well as into Manchester and Preston. By train The town s train station has regular services to locations across the region and connections to rail links for the rest of the UK. It s just a 30 minute train ride to Manchester s Victoria Station, 20 minutes to Preston and 30 minutes to Leeds.
