1 Evergreen Trees Discounts We are pleased to offer volume purchase discounts on our trees at the following order value thresholds: Stock order value over 500 ex-vat 10% discount Stock order value over 1500 ex-vat 15% discount Stock order value over 3000 ex-vat 20% discount As the name suggests, evergreen trees are in leaf year-round. New leaves push out the old as the tree grows, so unless the tree is under stress, the foliage is always present. Some trees are classified as semi-evergreen meaning that if the tree gets too cold or too dry, they will drop most or all of their leaves in order to conserve energy and protect the overall tree from death. Evergreen trees do not usually have showy flowers or vibrant autumnal coloration but provide an excellent monochromatic background for deciduous trees and smaller plantings. Taxus baccata (English Yew) is one of Britain s most traditional and long-living trees. Slow growing, but very malleable with pruning and producing a wonderful berry in winter. Magnolia grandiflora Goliath is a very hardy evergreen magnolia grown for its glossy foliage and Goliath -sized goblet shaped flowers in summer. Thank you for your interest in Majestic Trees.
