3 Tornados are drawn maize pickers used for picking all sorts of maize in cobs (also seed corn). Picker s main functions are picking and husking of corncobs, conveying into the hopper and its emptying, crashing and spreading of maize straw. Machine s main advantages are: good agility, low energy consumption, high picking efficiency, original construction of picking and husking units ensures clean husking and prevents from damage and corn loss. By means of hydraulics the machine adapts quickly to the crop and ground conditions.

4 TORNADO Amongst maize pickers you can choose between less and more efficient machines. Single row maize pickers Tornado 40 EOL and Tornado 40 EOL 8V ensure in normal conditions the picking rate of 0,45 ha/h, double row Tornado 80 from 0,6 to 0,8 ha/h. Tornado 40 EOL with six husking rollers in husking unit ensures high husking level; meanwhile the Tornado 40 EOL 8V with two additional husking rollers enables better permeability and therefore a bit higher husking level. Tornado 80 has 12 rollers mounted in the husking unit. Picking unit makes sure that the cobs are conveyed into the husking unit. Picking unit Picking unit separates reliably the corncobs from the plant and conveys them without damage to the husking unit. Picking unit on Tornado 40 EOL and Tornado 40 EOL 8V enables single row maize picking and double row maize picking with Tornado 80. The height of the picking unit can be adjusted by the means of the hydraulics according to the crop condition.

Rubber-star shovels above rollers move the cob through the husking unit to the conveyor. Four metal cleaning rollers are mounted on the husking unit, they help conveying off dirtiness. Miller The miller is mounted behind the picking unit; it crashes efficiently the vegetal rests and spreads them evenly over the field. It is fixed with Tornado 40 EOL and Tornado 40 EOL 8V, on Tornado 80 it is height adjustable. Husking unit cover The cover of the husking unit enables quick adjusting of husking level by regulating the height. Ventilator The ventilator is mounted on the cover of the husking unit, it enables additional cob cleaning, which is especially convenient when picking the maize in dry weather.

Framework A tube-construction, where all the working units are arranged. Drive Working units are mutually driven by the means of cogwheel gears, chains, belts, axle and shaft.
