2 ROTOVIB DESTEMMERS ROTOVIB SERIES DESTEMMER The ROTOVIB Destemmer is the latest development in quality wine grape processing equipment. The goal is to provide the gentlest handling of fruit, yielding the maximum number of whole berries and a minimum of stems. Patented vibration technology is used to "pluck" the grapes from the stems without the need to thrash the clusters within the destemming cylinder. Pin shaft speeds can therefore be reduced by 60% or more. Under-ripe or raisined fruit remain on the stems, increasing product quality. The ROTOVIB is available in three models, allowing for production of 10, 20 or 30 tons per hour. Rotovib 10 Destemmer FEATURES Vibration energy destems grapes gently, with a minimum of stem breakage. 4 VIBRATING TIPPING HOPPERS KVB15 TIPPING HOPPER Armbruster s range of tipping hoppers can receive hand-picked grapes from half-ton bins, and using gentle vibration energy, feed the grapes at a controlled rate to a destemmer or manual sorting table. Subsequent half-ton bins can be added without interrupting the flow, providing a continuous operation at up to 9 tons per hour or more. There are no screw auger or belts to damage the fruit. Other reception and feeding solutions are also available and can be fully customized to fit specific spaces and needs. 5 PRESS SOLUTIONS WILLMES GRAPE PRESSES Willmes is the inventor of the modern pneumatic press, as well as the patented central juice extraction systems. As they constantly continue to seek improvements in construction and performance of their machines, Willmes remains the leading innovator in the wine grape processing industry. Spanning three generations, Willmes is the most established name in wine press manufacturing. There are currently two models available, the MERLIN and the SIGMA. Both models are known for their ability to produce high juice yields at low pressures with very low solids generated. The Grapesort Optical Sorter incorporates the most recent innovations in high-resolution 4 channel camera technology to precisely detect flaws in individual grapes.
