5 OPTIMISED MOVEMENT The system is insensitive to accelerations of the carrier or to unevenness of the ground. It comprises two double-acting hydraulic cylinders whose function is to carry the entire harvesting head with no other mechanical interface. The left and right cylinders have an adjustment system which makes it possible to optimize the movement of the harvesting head inside the carrier to within one millimeter in relation to the axis of the vine row. Therefore there is no loss of fruit onto the ground. Two position sensors detect the direction of guidance and light up the cab indicators to indicate any required correction of the path of the carrier. The guidance sensors are located at the entry to the harvesting head. 3 1 AUTOMATIC GUIDANCE The Activ head automatically guides the collecting head whatever its weight and the position of its centre of gravity; it never relies on either the vegetation or tie in to position itself independently of the position of the front and rear wheels. PROTECTION OF PLANTS The position of the harvesting head on the vine row is perfectly controlled by the driver, offering him greater comfort and simplifying his task. The crop is of better quality as the head does not rest on the plants. This significantly increases productivity and reduces maintenance costs due to the longer service life of the wear and tear parts. SORTER OPTION The Sorter comprises a grid-type continuous conveyor. It separates the juice, the grapes and whole bunches. It is located directly at the exit of the elevator conveyors. Two suction fans are located on the rear conveyor chute and completely remove all the leaves while retaining all the juice. OPEN STRUCTURE CONVEYOR Ejects M.O.G. and prevents clogging and loss of juice. Triggers an alarm if there is a blockage. The belt direction can be reversed and the belt speed can be adjusted to suit the forward speed and the yield. Cleaning when the grapes reach the conveyors with two suction fans with shoot grinders and interchangeable blades. The cleaned harvest is then collected in bins with no juice being lost. This is made possible by continuous synchronization between the machine s speed and the speed of the tractor slaved to the pull force in the drawbar. RECEPTION AND TRANSPORTATION Reception and transportation of the harvest are done by two conveyor belts, fitted with upper cleats and located either side of the machine. The Pellenc-patented "open structure" design of the conveyors discards foreign bodies and prevents clogging. An alarm warns you in the event of blockage and the conveyor direction can be reversed! All of the parts in contact with the crop are made of stainless steel or food-grade material. It transports the crop without jamming or refilling and removes foreign bodies to the rear.
