WHITE WINES: SICILIA DOC INSOLIA CUBÌA 2012 James Suckling 94 Points Cusumano Tenuta Ficuzza Sicily (12.5%vol) Made from 100% Insolia grapes, Cubìa is produced using hand harvested grapes. Wonderfully perfumed, this mineral-driven expression of Insolia has an incredibly fresh and complex personality. Bright straw yellow in color with golden reflections, this wine opens with a very delicate bouquet of fresh fruit, tangerine, white flowers, yellow peach and spices on the nose. This modern Cru wine is able to satisfy even the most demanding of palates. PINOT BIANCO SANCT VALENTIN Robert Parker 92 points San Michele Appiano - Alto Adige (14% vol) Aromas of white melon and pear are delicately played against the creamy substance and rich texture of the wine. Ultimately, this white wine awards a greater experience to the palate compared to the nose and this is not an easy achievement Concentrate and rich to taste, the Pinot Bianco Sanct Valentin is refreshing and lively despite the oak maturation. VIGNA NGENA CAPICHERA James Suckling 94 points Capichera - Sardinia (14.5% vol) Vigna ngena is one of the best dry white wines made from Vermentino di Gallura grapes. It has a rich bouquet of citrus fruit and ripe pears combined with hints of jasmine, acacia and broom. The taste of wine is bright, elegant and rich, with good structure and balanced acidity. The finish is long and fruity.

Tasty and well structured, elegant and refined, with velvety and solid tannins NERO D AVOLA SAGANA James Suckling 95 points Cusumano, Tenuta San Giacomo Sicily (14%) This sophisticated wine is made from 100% Nero d Avola. The ruby red Sàgana has smoldering aromas of pepper, crushed elderberries and dark cocoa. The smooth rich flavors of dry plums and figs wake the palate as vanilla oak lingers throughout the finish. SANSONINA ROSSO VERONESE IGT James Suckling 95 points Sansonina Veneto (14%) Wonderful wine. 100% Merlot. It has an intense, full ruby red colour. Full and complex with hints of ripe red fruit, jam (plum, cherry, blueberry), cocoa and a very slight hint of balsam. Rich, warm and full bodied on the palate whilst also elegant, rounded and supple with persistent length. AMARONE CLASSICO DELLA VALPOLICELLA Robert Parker 93 points Zenato Veneto (16.5% vol) Considered to be the king of the Veronese wines, this is a generous and pleasing award winning wine. It has a ruby red colour with deep, ethereal bouquet of tobacco and chocolate and smoky, dried fruit aromas. A rich, lingering and spicy palate with strong yet smooth and supple tannins. Incredible TURRIGA IGT Robert Parker 93+ points Argiolas, Isola Dei Nuraghi Sardinia (14.5%) Turriga is the benchmark red wine of Sardinia. Turriga is a powerful red wine densely packed with powerful tannins and tightly wound fruit. This wine has an intense ruby-red colour, and a full-bodied aroma taking in morello cherry, mulberry, black currant, chocolate and leading to a meaty palate. Powerful yet restrained with excellent length BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO DOCG Robert Parker 96 points Casanova Di Neri Tuscany (14.5%) Great Wine. This multi awarded Brunello di Montalcino is a beautiful wine, refined and elegant with gorgeous aromas of ripe cherries, blackberry, smoke, leather, fresh floral and liquorice note. On the palate this demonstrates lovely finesse, excellent structure and beautiful fine silky tannins. BARBARESCO TULIN IGT Robert Parker 94 points Pellissero Piedmont (14%) This 2001 is at the very top of its cru. Ruby red colour in the glass; complex, generous aromas of rose, autumn leaves and crisp vanilla. Powerful sinew and concentration as well as marvellous length delicious now but with long way to go.
