4 A Case Study Four Seasons New York Wine Trend was contacted in 2008 to develop a functional display solution for the Four Seasons New York and to provide the expertise necessary to implement the two sixteen-foot towers. Wine Trend analyzed the clients' stock, cutting both production and cooling costs by allocating uncontrolled space for high turnover s. Wine Trend specified custom cooling and lighting solutions to overcome the technical challenge inherent in climate controlling a glass enclosure of this size while preventing condensation. Wine Trend also custom fabricated materials to match the other elements envisioned by the design team, creating a seamless look and a focal piece that was as functional as it was spectacular.

6 Hyatt Santa Barbara, Curacao Architectural firm: CMMI Located in the Southern Caribbean Sea on the island of Curacao is the Hyatt Regency Santa Barbara. Wine Trend designed and fabricated four custom controlled environment, glass enclosures for the dining room. Each features fine teak wood, glass panels and an independent cooling system. They are a unique and elegant centerpiece that add ambiance to the restaurant and enhance the dining experience.
7 Rosewood Hotel, Abu Dhabi Architectural Firm: BBG-BBGM Set to break ground in the spring of 2010 is the Rosewood Hotel located in the financial district of Abu Dhabi. Wine Trend was brought in to consult on the design of a high-tech bar with state of the art touch screen menus, featuring a 5000 bottle glass tower. Highlights of the design are a wireless dispensing system, computerized card reader that bill purchases to guestsô room account and individual Champagne storage designed in collaboration with the Porsche Company. Wine Trend designed contemporary controlled environment storage for Champagne and white, with a LED light system and a glass enclosure for storage in private dining room area. We also designed and specified all technical specifications for the controlled environment collectable room storage, refrigerated Cheese Cave Room and the Cognac, Chocolate and Cigar rooms, including the ventilation systems.

The Founder Wine is about so much more than just the. It s an entire lifestyle that goes with the - fine food, celebration, conversation, collecting, travel and so on and sharing this way of life with family and friends. Paul Koder Paul Koder was introduced to fine and cuisine by his father, an acknowledged vintner and rare collector. Mr. Koder Graduated College with an Agricultural Engineering degree and minor in Architecture from the American University of Beirut in He later received a culinary arts degree from the Cordon Bleu and Ritz Escoffier Schools in Paris. He continued his training by earning a diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London and began establishing himself as a educator and epicurean authority. Based in Bordeaux in 1993, Koder worked with top French and Italian makers and distributors in the role of negociante, becoming highly skilled at selling future vintages. He built an international clientele as a consultant and supplier of Grand Cru Classe Wines. In 1998 Koder offered full-service consulting services that designed corporate, private and public events as well as educational seminars on tasting. In 2000, working collaboratively with industry leaders Vinotheque and Eurocave, Koder introduced professional consulting on cellaring and computerized inventory management, resulting in innovative solutions for a growing international market. In 2004 Koder relocated his firm from Southern France to Richmond, VA. He is an active member of the American Wine Society, Cordon Bleu Society, the greater Washington, D.C. chapter of the International Special Events Society and the Cambridge Food and Wine Society. Locally he serves as a member of the Vintage Maymont Wine Committee and he writes the monthly "Wine Life" column for Richmond Magazine.
