Discussed: Catering has been excellent. New menu has commenced with positive feedback. Shrubs have been removed in residents/staff car park to make room for a new spiked fence to be erected on the western side of the car park. Sinterklaas Feest on 1 December was very much enjoyed by all who attended. Request for Herring Rolls to be included again on the menu for next year. FOR YOUR INFORMATION Allied Health Services Alex and Peter will be on site over the holiday season except for the public holidays classes will run as usual except if they fall on a public holiday. GP Services Dr Lehmann will be available on Monday 24 December and Friday 28 December, Monday 31 December and Friday 4 January. Dr Lehmann will be on leave Monday 7 January returning on Monday 21 January. Dr Patrick will provide cover on the Mondays and Fridays during Dr Lehmann s leave. Taxi Services Remember to book early if you require a taxi or access cab for Christmas Day (Access Cab 1300 360 940) and for catering purposes, we ask families to advise staff in advance if residents will be off site for lunch on Christmas Day. Lost and Found A single zwarovski earring has been found. Please contact Reception if you may have an earring and we ask that you give a description. NEXT UIT EN THUIS Oaklands Park on Friday 14 December 2018, 10am to Green Fields for Christmas Celebrations: Green Fields on Friday 14 December 2018 at 10am: Morning Tea, Christmas Celebrations and entertainment by John Kampes, Lunch and socialising till 2pm Goolwa Uit en Thuis in the Community Hub, Cnr Goolwa Tce and Loveday Street Every Thursday from to 4.00pm The last Uit en Thuis for 2018 will be Friday 14 December. Uit en Thuis will be back on Friday 11 January 2019 for both Rembrandt Court and Green Fields. Rembrandt Court are happy to offer a wheelchair to assist in taking a resident out, however we have limited wheelchairs available. We will only book wheel chairs on a first in first serve basis. If you require a wheelchair please speak with staff and book the chair for the intended day/time. We trust that chairs will only be booked for required timeframes to allow others the opportunity to also utilise this offer. Alternatively, you may wish to hire one from an external provider. IN MEMORY With deep sadness we announce that resident Margot Silenieks passed away at Rembrandt Court on Monday 3 December. We offer our sincere condolences to Margot s family and friends.

Payment (cash or eftpos) for the Christmas Dinner must be received by Friday 14 December after that date unpaid seats will be offered to people on the waiting list SINTERKLAAS FEEST Sinterklaas Feest held at Rembrandt Court on Saturday 1 December was a fantastic event so many people attended young and old. The children were delighted with the gifts they received from Sinterklaas. Some delicious snacks such as Olliebollen, Poffertjes, Broodje Kroketten were enjoyed by our visitors. Great music and entertainment by John Kampes made it a very special event. Many thanks to the volunteers as well as the staff who volunteered their time.
