Weddings at The Saxon Mill The Saxon Mill offers beautiful bespoke weddings at a truly unique location. Situated on the outskirts of the city of Warwick alongside the River Avon, we have some of the best views in Warwickshire! The idyllic riverside patio is the perfect place for champagne and canapés! The bridge over the weir and the stunning scenery also make this the ideal spot for your wedding photographs. Our fully functioning water wheel, impressive outlook over the river and traditional charm mean that the Saxon Mill will provide you with a truly unique day. Here at the Saxon Mill, we're licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies in our Warwick Suite. We also have a license for live entertainment. Our Warwick Suite is situated on the first floor at the front of the building. It retains a lot of it's traditional features such as wooden beams and exposed stone walls. The room is full of character by itself but looks fantastic when dressed in all kinds of unique or traditional styles. The room can hold up to 70 people seated for the Civil Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast and then 100 people for an evening buffet reception and entertainment. The Warwick Suite has a fully stocked private bottle bar which will be manned throughout the evening and the pub below has a full range of draught beers. Here at The Saxon Mill, we want to make your Wedding Day as special and memorable as possible. We offer a bespoke and flexible service to meet each couple s individual needs after all, it s your Big Day! Our Events Manager, Amy Vaughan, will be happy to meet you and discuss all of your requirements and requests for your big day. How to Find Us We re just five minutes from Junction 15 of the M40. From the Junction, take the A46 north towards Coventry. Take the second exit, signposted Leek Wooton. Civil Ceremonies The Saxon Mill is licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies in the Warwick Suite. We are licensed to hold ceremonies from 4 to 70 people. Upon booking the Warwick Suite Provisionally, you will need to contact the Superintendant Registrar at the Warwickshire Registration Service 01926494269. They will then check availability for the day required. All the arrangements for the Civil Ceremonies are confirmed with the Registrars Office. The room hire charge for The Saxon Mill covers the hire of The Warwick Suite only and all registrars fees will need to be arranged separately with them. Room Hire The room hire costs for The Warwick Suite are as follows: Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast and Evening - 750 Ceremony and Breakfast Only - 650 Breakfast and Evening Only - 650 Evening Only - 500 A deposit of the room hire cost is required to secure your booking. The hire of the Warwick Suite also includes the use of: Tables and Chairs White Linen Table Cloths and Napkins Any flowers, chair covers or other decorations will need to be organised separately. We do have a list of recommended suppliers who we often work with so don t hesitate to ask if you need a little inspiration.

Drinks Package We will design a drinks package to suit your requirements from our extensive wine, champagne and cocktail lists. Corkage You re more than welcome to bring your own wine or fizz for your big day. The corkage costs are 15 per bottle of wine and 25 per bottle of fizz. Licensing Hours The Saxon Mill bars are open until 11pm. We can run a late bar and extend the opening hours up to 1am. This would be at a cost of 100 per hour. Menus Please see below our selection of Wedding Breakfast and Buffet Menus. There is usually something on these to suit every taste. If you wanted something a bit different to these, The Saxon Mill would be happy to be flexible. Our head chef is fantastic and open to any ideas, he ll be sure to put together a fantastic menu to suit your budget.
