As you would have seen on all media platforms, the Royal Commission into Aged Care officially commenced with the first public hearing on Friday 18 th January here in Adelaide. We understand this may cause some anxiety amongst residents and/or families however, we are really proud of the care we provide all our residents and clients and continuously monitor and improve this service. As always we welcome any feedback that allows us to further improve. If you have any feedback or feel the need to speak to someone you are encouraged to speak with any of our leadership team who will assist you to further understand the Royal Commission into Aged Care or follow up where improvements are necessary. Here's another handy tip from Paul for an easy way to remove the background from your photos. https://www.remove.bg/ Using this function will help you to create a new picture that has just the people without the background of the original picture. You upload a photo (or provide a link to a photo) and soon after you will be presented with the background-less image that can be downloaded and saved. Then you can add your own background, or just leave it blank. As always, check the Privacy Policy of the website before using it. STAFF MEMBER PROFILE We have pleasure in introducing (although you may already have seen her around the place) Residential Services Coordinator, Sharon Farn. Sharon was born in the UK and has lived in South Australia since 2007. She worked in the legal industry for many years specialising in elderly client advice. She has worked in the aged care sector for over 10 years in Rostering and Client Liaison and is a strong advocate for the elderly and their welfare. Sharon commenced in October 2018, currently organises the staff rosters and is also involved in client liaison here at Rembrandt Living. UPDATE FROM MAINTENANCE Further update with regards to the renovations being undertaken in Hs 3, 4. Plumbers are working on the under-ground plumbing after which the concrete will be poured in the bathrooms followed by carpentry work. MEMORIAL SERVICE 6 FEBRUARY 2019 We at Rembrandt Court wish to take some time out to honour the life of the people we have cared for and who have passed away recently. We therefore invite you and your family, friends and colleagues to our next Rembrandt Memorial Service to celebrate and remember the life lived by your loved one. The service will commence at 11.00am on Wednesday 6 February in the Main Room and morning tea will be served. RSVP to Cathy at Reception in person or ph 8198 0300 to reserve seating.
