We all have some busy weeks ahead of us however can I please encourage as many of you as possible to join us for the Rembrandt Court Christmas Dinner (Tuesday 19 th December at 5.30pm) we are putting this on especially so that residents can enjoy a meal with restaurant style service with their family to celebrate Christmas. We have made it in the evening to make it convenient for as many families as possible (kids welcome). Andy has promised a nice 3-course meal and the corporate/office staff are volunteering their time (including me) to wait on the tables! We are only charging it at cost, so please join us. RSVP to Cathy at Reception. LIFESTYLE Resident Feedback The Residents Meeting was held in House 5 with 5 residents attending and 2 staff members. Monique explained the change that has occurred over the years with regards to resident intake and eligibility, with the Government allocating more funds to home care services, enabling people to remain in their own home and entering residential care once assessed as high care. Staff to be reminded to wear their name badges at all times. Residents Christmas Dinner to be held Tuesday 19 December. Families are encouraged to attend. Only $15 for three course meal and a glass of wine. RSVP via email reception@rembrandtliving.org.au or telephone Cathy on 8198 0300. New Menu commences Monday 4 December (see attached). Comment made that residents would like variation of potatoes, not just mashed, but boiled tossed in butter or roasted. Swimming groups enjoying the exercise however would like the time changed as 1.15pm is too close after finishing their main meal. New time of 1.45pm to be negotiated with Swimming Centre. Rembrandt Balance Gym consider running an afternoon class not just in the morning. Staff on the floor to ensure residents who are booked in to the gym arrive promptly to avoid late starts.
