7 Tasty Recipes Tuna and Tomato Pasta INGREDIENTS: SERVES: 2 PREP TIME: 5 mins COOKING TIME: 35 mins 300g Penne pasta 500g creamy tomato & herb pasta bake 2 x 120g tins tuna steak 2 x 198g tins sweetcorn in water, drained 250g chopped tomatoes 14g fresh flat-leaf parsley, leaves picked, washed and chopped 100g mature cheddar, grated METHOD: 1 Preheat the oven to 200 C. Bring a large pan of water to the boil, add pasta and cook for 5-6 minutes. Drain when soft. 2 Add cooked pasta back into the pan and stir through the pasta sauce, tuna, sweetcorn, chopped tomatoes and chopped the parsley. 3 Add mixture into baking dish and top with grated cheese. Cook for 30 minutes at 200 o C until golden. 4 Garnish with the some parsley and serve. Strawberry Trifle SERVES: 5-8 PREP TIME: 5 mins COOKING TIME: 30 mins INGREDIENTS: METHOD: 170g sponge cake 1 packet of jelly cubes 200g strawberries 300ml whipping cream 500g custard 1 tbsp of icing sugar Vanilla essence 1 Line the bottom of a bowl with sponge cake. 2 Prepare the strawberry jelly and when cool, pour over then leave to set in the fridge. 3 Add a layer of custard. 4 Whip up the carton of whipping cream, add a tablespoon of icing sugar and a drop of vanilla essence. 5 Layer the cream on top of the custard and decorate with halved strawberries.
