14 Great gift idea! Our Brodeur s Card in an elegant gift box About Brodeur s... Brodeur s Bistro opened in June 2013 as a locally owned sandwich shop focused on Montreal Smoked Meat. Brodeur s evolved over the next year into a true Bistro with an extensive North-American French menu. The name Brodeur s was selected because it is a traditional family name in both Quebec and Louisiana. A Bistro is similar to regular restaurant but a little more casual, a little more crowded, a bit faster service and a bit lower priced. We focus on fresh local ingredients. Our beef, chicken, french-fries, and all our vegetables are never frozen. Rather than buy our Montreal Smoked Meat from suppliers, we smoke our own beef right here using a century old Montreal recipe. Restaurant chains and pubs use a model of managers and cooks.
