2 For over 20 years people in the Metro west area have utilized John Harvard s as their preferred venue for fun social events as well as important business functions. We are very versatile and flexible when it comes to accommodating groups of all types and sizes; we will work with you to create an event that works for your needs and your budget. We offer semiprivate space in our pub area for cocktail parties and social dinners. Our private dining room can be reserved for exclusive use and provides a quiet and comfortable setting for business dinners, showers, birthdays and receptions. Exclusive events in the private dining room receive V.I.P. treatment as well as complimentary linen service and access to utilize our 110 high-definition television. It s perfect for watching the game, conducting a business presentation, or showing a slideshow of family photos. Our function menus make event planning simple and are sure to impress your guests. Attached you will find information on function menus detailing the options that John Harvard's Brew House has to offer. We accept reservations of any size Sunday through Thursday at any time, and from 11:30am to 4:00pm on Friday and Saturday. Whatever your needs are, we are always willing to make the best possible accommodations for you and your guests. 3 In-House Reservation Policy Deposit & Payment Policy: Once you have chosen a date for your party, we require a signed copy of your event contract and a credit card number to reserve the date. John Harvard's welcomes all major credit cards, cash or company checks. Pricing does not include tax. Prices subject to change Exclusive Functions: Booking an exclusive function guarantees a three hour time period for your function. There is no charge for the room, however in order to reserve our private dining room we require the following minimums for total food and beverage purchases (excluding tax and gratuity): Lunch Functions: Afternoon Functions: Night Functions: Monday Friday (11:30am 4pm) $500 minimum Saturday (11:30am 4pm) $900 minimum Sunday (11:30am 4pm) $500 minimum *Requests to start earlier than 11:30am can often be granted* Monday-Thursday parties booked between 3:00-5:00 & 8:00-11:00 pm minimums are waved Monday Thursday (after 5pm) $750 minimum Sunday (after 4pm) $900 minimum Friday & Saturday (after 4pm) No reservations Our High Pub area can seat up to 30 people and is available for reservations in 2 hour time blocks. Check for current minimums Guarantee The final guaranteed number of guests must be received by John Harvard s via phone, fax or three business days prior to your function. Otherwise, the guest count listed on the signed contract will be considered your guarantee. Food and Beverage Policy: Final menu selections must be submitted 5 days prior to function. No food left over from a buffet function may be removed from the premises. This is in compliance with the Food Safety Temperature Control Act. Guests are welcomed to bring their own cake to be served at no additional charge. Additional Charges: Food, beverages and other services provided by John Harvard s will be subject to state and local taxes along with a 20% gratuity. 7 FUNCTION MENUS Function menus are recommended for parties of All parties of or more are required to use a function menu Our function menus are customized menus designed to provide an optimal dining experience for large parties. In an effort to accommodate larger groups function menus ensure that while preparing each dish fresh to order, the food can be delivered promptly and in its entirety to the whole group. Our standard function packages with prices are listed on the following pages. We can customize these menus to fit your needs; food allergies can always be accommodated and special requests can often be granted.
