2 A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT January 2016 VOL V, ISSUE I Happy New Year NLSA!! Welcome to 2016!! With ringing in the New Year, I can t help but smile about what a year 2015 was for NLSA and how much we have grown, and it s all thanks to all of you who have worked so tirelessly to make this organization such a success. I m so excited for what 2016 promises to bring. For me, this past year seems to have flown by. As I have told you many times, since its inception in 2009, NLSA has been a wonderful organization for personal and professional growth, as well as a fellowship of sisterhood. As a founding member, this organization and its members will always have a very special place in my heart. As we begin this new year, I want to thank each and every one of you for your faith in and support of me as your President for this past year, as well as the honor to serve as your President in this new year and promise to do my best to make you proud.
