15 Great Bulls Come From Proven Cow Families COLEMAN JUNEAU 044 DAM: Coleman Donna 714 In 2011, I traveled to Montana in search of a new herd sire. I was extremely excited when I found Coleman Juneau 044. This bull was long-sided, deep-flanked, and extremely thick. As a maternal brother to Regis from the great Donna cow family, we knew he would have the maternal background and performance that we wanted to complement our program. The Donna cow family is well known to produce high maternal, efficient beef cattle, and it may be stronger than ever today. We believed the genetic potential in this calf could have a monumental impact on rebuilding this nation s cowherd.
