1 -Schools Topic: Litter Date Range of this Plan: raise awareness of ways to mimise litter the playground and local community Restart litter patrollg the new school playground. Use recyclg bs for paper, cardboard and plastic throughout the school buildg. Design and create a litter code. / Pupil Council P3-5 & Staff Started August October Litter rota Completed collection sheets Correct bs will be used for different types of litter Audit types of litter recyclg bs Completed audit table Recyclg bs will be monitored on Friday afternoons to ensure only recyclable materials are present Litter is beg disposed of correctly Recyclable materials are beg reused where possible Rota is displayed and is beg used correctly Playground will be free from litter Recyclg bs will be visible throughout buildg All litter will be disposed of correctly Pupils and staff understand the policy and are followg it Policy is displayed throughout the school and on website for pupils, staff, parents and visitors. How much will it cost? New litter pickers and gloves: Approx 10 (from tuck shop fund) Any ideas for the future? Litter pickg restarted. Litter pickers from Land Services helped motivation hugely. Contue to reward with house pots. Litter bs now all classes and most public rooms after Pupil Council wrote to Local support services. Room 3 created litter code. This is displayed all rooms throughout the school.

3 -Schools Topic: Water Date Range of this Plan: Raise awareness of ways to conserve water for the benefit of our future Water butt will be relocated to new school to collect ra water. Volume of ra water collected calculated and recorded on table Water butt will be used new school playground Collected rawater to be recycled to water plants How much will it cost? Any ideas for the future? Water butt has now been relocated. Ra water is beg collected to water planters. Water awareness posters will be created and displayed at sks throughout school buildg. RRSA February 2014 Posters will be displayed and checked regularly throughout the school Posters will be lked to right to clean water Taps will be turned off when not use Any problems with taps (drips etc) will be reported quickly to Mr Lee Posters will be on display Turn off the taps posters have been created and are displayed throughout the buildg. Right to clean water posters displayed by RRSA where appropriate. Water usage tables and graphs will be created. To start Record monthly figures tables and graphs and display on notice board Amount of water beg used throughout the buildg each month will decrease Unfortunately water usage cannot be measured by the Janitor and pupils new buildg. friendly taps most toilets will hopefully prevent any waste though.

Senior pupils particularly understand why supportg Fairtrade farmers is important through their volvement the Orange Tradg Game. As part of Fairtrade fortnight Room 5 held a Fairtrade coffee morng for friends and relatives usg only Fairtrade products. Pupils enjoyed sourcg and costg. Unfortunately we have not been able to calculate this yet but we hope to look at this next session.
