Protect yourself aganst resdual rsks arsng from the functons of the machne. Proper use The A600 s a coffee machne ntended for use n food servces, offces and smlar envronments. It s desgned to process whole coffee beans, ground coffee, powder sutable for automatc devces and fresh mlk. The A600 s ntended for the commercal preparaton of drnks n accordance wth these nstructons and the techncal data. The coffee machne s ntended exclusvely for operaton n nteror rooms. The machne s not sutable: for use out of doors for the storage of alcoholc or explosve substances FoamMaster/Refrgeraton unt (optonal) A FoamMaster or a refrgeraton unt s used exclusvely to keep mlk cool whle preparng coffee drnks wth an A600 coffee machne. The FoamMaster s also used to generate mlk foam. Only use pre-cooled mlk (2-5 C or 36-1 F). Only use FRANKE clean soluton. Other cleanng agents may leave resdues n the mlk system. Cup warmer (optonal) The cup warmer s an optonal add-on unt for your coffee machne. It s ntended only for preheatng coffee cups and glasses used when preparng drnks. The cup warmer s not desgned to dry dsh towels or other cloths. It s not necessary to cover the cups to warm them. Flavor Staton (optonal) The Flavor Staton s ntended exclusvely for the automatc conveyance of syrups and other lqud aromas for the preparaton of drnks. The Flavor Staton s not desgned to pump more vscous fluds such as chocolate sauce. Payment system (opton) The payment system can be used for varous methods of payment, e.g. cons, card, cell etc. Do you have any questons or problems that are not addressed n these nstructons? 6 Important Do not operate the coffee machne or add-on unts untl you have completely read and understood these nstructons. Do not use the machne: f you are not famlar wth ts functons. f the machne or the connecton lnes are damaged. f the machne has not been cleaned or flled as ntended. The A600 s ntended for use by traned personnel. Each operator of the A600 must have read and understood the nstructons. Ths does not apply to ts use n the self-servce sector. Self-servce machnes must always be montored to protect the users. Chldren under the age of 8 years are not permtted to use the machne. Chldren or persons who are challenged wth respect to physcal, sensory or mental abltes must not use the machne except under supervson, nor must they play wth the machne. Chldren are not permtted to carry out any cleanng on the machne. Have the machne servced at regular ntervals. Regular mantenance wll ensure the safe operaton and hgh performance of the machne. General safety concerns when usng the A600! Danger Rsk of death by electrocuton! Ensure that the power supply cable s not pnched and does not rub aganst sharp edges. Ensure that the machne and power supply cable are not near any hot surfaces such as gas or electrc stoves or ovens. Never operate a machne that has been damaged or has a damaged power supply cable. If the machne power connecton cable s damaged, t must be replaced by a power connecton cable ntended for that purpose. If the power connecton cable s not permanently attached, contact the servce techncan. If the power connecton cable s not permanently attached, order and use a new, orgnal power connecton cable. (See secton: Orgnal parts). If you suspect damage to the machne (for nstance, a hot or burnng odor), unplug the machne from the outlet and contact your servce techncan. Never open or attempt to repar the machne yourself. The machne contans electrcally conductve parts. Do not make any modfcatons to the machne that are not descrbed n the operatng nstructons. Have repars on electrcal parts carred out by servce techncans usng orgnal spare parts. Have servce work carred out by authorzed persons only. Authorzed persons can show the relevant qualfcaton. 7 ! Warnng Rsk of njury Reachng nto the machne may result n abrasons or crushng njures from nteror components. Only open the machne when daly work requres t (e.g. to clean the powder system or to empty the grounds contaner). Exercse care and cauton when workng n an open machne. Only servce techncans should open the machne for any other reason. Rsk of njury, eye njury and damage to the machne Objects n the bean hopper, powder contaner or grnder may splnter and be ejected, leadng to damage to the machne or njury. Never put anythng nto the bean hopper, powder contaner or grnder. Danger of burns The coffee and mlk dspensers, the hot water dspenser and the steam dspenser become hot. Do not touch the outlets or nozzles. The surfaces of the cup warmer are hot. Do not touch these surfaces. Rsk of scaldng! Durng cleanng, hot water and steam are released repeatedly. Keep hands away from the outlets and nozzles durng cleanng. When drnks are dspensed, the products themselves pose a rsk of scaldng. Always be careful wth hot drnks.!! Cauton Danger from spoled food resdue If the machne s not cleaned regularly, mlk and coffee resdue may accumulate n the machne, clog the outlets or fnd ts way nto drnks. Clean the coffee machne and add-on unts at least once a day. Read the chapter "Care of the A600". Rsk of contamnaton When the machne s not n use for extended perods, resdue may accumulate. Rnse the coffee machne before ntal use and when not n use for extended perods (more than 2 days). Cauton Danger of rrtaton wth cleanng agents Cleanng tablets and descaler can lead to rrtatons. Observe the nformaton enclosed wth the cleanng agent. Observe the notes on the machne durng the cleanng process. Avod contact wth skn or eyes. Wash your hands before your breaks and once you have completed your tasks. Note Damage from water jets The coffee machne s not protected aganst water jets. Avod usng water jets for cleanng and do not use hgh-pressure cleaners. Damage to the coffee machne Set the machne up out of the reach of chldren. Do not expose the machne to the elements, such as ran, frost or drect sunlght. Danger of trppng over the power supply cable Never let the power supply cable hang loose. Blockage n the powder system caused by ncorrect raw materals Ensure that the powder and beans are poured nto the correct contaners. Observe the machne equpment. Page For your safety

The FoamMaster forms a unt together wth your A600. Refrgeraton unt SU05 (optonal) You can connect the refrgeraton unt drectly to the A600 to make sure the mlk for your coffee beverages stays fresh. Scroll forwards/backwards. Navgaton Swtchng to Energy saver mode To f nsh Energy saver mode, tap on the operatng nterface. To select an opton, tap on the respectve f eld. 20 Installaton and techncal data Your A600 must be properly nstalled so that you can operate t correctly your servce techncan wll gladly do that for you. You'll have to take care of a few thngs frst. You'll fnd the requrements for problem-free enjoyment of your coffee machne here. Preparatons The power connecton for the coffee machne must be protected by a ground fault crcut nterrupter (FI). Each termnal of the power supply must be able to be nterrupted by a swtch. The fxed water connecton must have a water shut-off wth a check valve and flter that can be nspected and must meet the requrements of the techncal data. The fxed water connecton to your coffee machne must be done usng the hose set that s suppled wth t. Do not use any other water hoses that happen to be present. Installaton You must have completed these preparatons before one of our Servce techncans can nstall the coffee machne for you. Do not touch the outlets or the area beneath them. 01 Tap the operatng nterface The coffee machne automatcally vents the boler system and rnses whle heatng. If necessary, add coffee beans, sutable powder for automatc machnes, mlk and syrup. Also f ll up the machne wth water for operaton wth the water tank. The coffee machne s ready for operaton.
