2 One Big Table Once a year, the Food Bank transforms our warehouse for our One Big Table dinner. And with your support, we are transforming lives every day of the year. By coming together at One Big Table, our community of generous supporters enables the Food Bank to provide healthy, nutritious food for so many neighbors in need. On September 29, twenty of the Bay Area s most celebrated chefs will donate their time, talent, and passion to create an unforgettable evening at One Big Table. You ll join 450 guests and dine together in our San Francisco warehouse, the hub of our hunger-relief efforts. Each distinguished chef prepares a unique three-course meal, creating an intimate dining experience within the larger, elegant event. Together, we are ending hunger and transforming lives in our community.

3 Our Mission Our mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. Our Vision We envision a community where everyone is able to obtain enough nutritious food in a dignified manner to support the health and well-being of themselves and their families. Who We Are Founded in 1987, the SF-Marin Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that works to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin. From our pantry network and home-delivered groceries, to our nutrition-education classes and CalFresh (food stamps) enrollment, we work in many ways to nourish and empower neighbors in need. Every week, 30,000 households count on us for food assistance. Sixty percent of what we distribute is fresh fruits and vegetables. Advocacy Our Services We advocate at the local, state, and national levels for policy reform and program improvements to assist people at risk of hunger. CalFresh Outreach We help eligible neighbors access CalFresh (food stamps) benefits, one of the best ways to end hunger. Home-Delivered Groceries We provide home-delivered groceries to support better health and increased self-sufficiency for seniors and neighbors with disabilities. Morning Snack for Students We provide students at high-need public schools with the fuel they need to learn and excel. Neighborhood Pantries We distribute food at 253 weekly pantries, where participants choose fresh groceries in a farmers market setting. We offer more than 50 unique types of fruits and vegetables annually. Nutrition Education We teach classes on how to prepare healthy meals and snacks on a budget.
