4 Criteria Customer Service: How was the environment within the eatery? Were the employees welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable? Was the service time an acceptable speed? Menu Variety: Was the menu varied enough to allow substantial choice? Are there options for customers with dietary restrictions? Are there options for health-conscious customers? Quality of Food: How was the quality of the food? Did the taste meet expectations? Was the food over or under-cooked? Cleanliness/Hygiene: Were the eatery and food prep areas clean and hygienic? Were employees wearing the proper attire and ensuring the food was handled properly? Dining Area/Eatery: Was the dining area clean and tidy? Was there enough space for customers to sit? Was there a logical flow to the setup of the eatery (things easy to find, flow of traffic etc.)? Value: How would you rate the portion size you received? Were there multiple options for people who wanted smaller/larger meals? In terms of cost, were you satisfied with the meal you received for the money you spent?

5 Customer Service REV 8 Western 8 SJU 2.5 Friendly staff, make an effort to chat with you sometimes Knowledgeable about the menu and how the items are prepared Good service time Pretty friendly staff that joked around and made sure you were satisfied with what you got Willing to assist easily with questions you have Friendly staff, very talkative at my booth Knowledgeable about items and could answer questions Service was a bit slow Prices weren t clearly posted at some locations, confusing Speed was okay at the burrito bar Friendly people and knowledgable about dietary needs such as halal It was a nightmare. Staff wanted to get you in and out, could barely hear you and didn t seem to care about quality. When we were trying to pay there was no cashier; I stood waiting for probably 2 minutes. Seemed dismissive. Extremely long lines. Staff couldn t handle the human traffic there. Slow and inefficient. Very unorganized, confusing and unclear to what was happening.

6 Menu Variety REV 6.75 Western 8.6 SJU 3.5 Like that there s always 3 options at the steam table, good for people with restrictions Good options, salad bar, sandwiches, steam table, soups etc. Considering the size it s pretty good Good options for dietary restrictions Not that great of a variety when compared Feels more spacious than V1 but lower variety Tons of options and build your own stations (burritos, quesadilla, pizza, stir fry, steam counter, salad/fruit bar, sushi, deli) Sushi wasn t available and we were there just as it opened? Had health conscious items, logos at some counters Fair trade certification Menus were oddly not always visible, so the menu may have been larger but it was unclear No variety, limited options, some things felt quite similar to one another (beef with fries at one booth, poutine at another) Salad bar was decent, there was ice cream No apparent health or dietary restrictions such as halal or vegetarian Didn t really see much happening and not that great of a food choice overall

7 Quality of Food REV 8.75 Western 8.3 SJU 4 Freshly prepared, cooked properly, no concerns Good taste, happy with the meal I ordered Cheese sticks were cold, bland, and stale (hard to chew) Food is good Burritos were amazing, lots of toppings to choose from, good temperature, fresh Other meals - a bit cold, average taste (but overall good), concern over portion sizes Mixed results overall, some people loved their meals while others found them average-good Some of us hated our food (cold, poor quality, meal seemed rushed, poor options) Others didn t mind it (seemed decent and edible, but nothing special)

8 Cleanliness / Hygiene REV 8.5 Western 8.6 SJU 5.5 No concerns over food handling, employees were hygienic and wearing proper attire, areas were mostly clean Everything I could see was clean Staff was clean and ready Area was very clean, no problems Staff were wearing proper attire, handled food properly Concerns over glove use opposed to UW s frequent hand-washing It was a mess at the stations, stray food kind of all over the place, not too bad but could be cleaner Everything all over the place, juice spilled, popcorn all over, no one to clean them up. Staff were rushed Not necessarily dirty, but more of the food and kitchen was in a haphazard state

9 Dining Area / Eatery REV 8.5 Western 8 SJU 5 Good set-up to REV. There is a clear flow to the space and it s easy to find what one is looking for. Enough space in that tiny area to get by people. Good amount of seats. Clean space. Lots of space for sitting and eating However, space is very open. Lacks privacy unlike V1 Variety of table sizes Great lighting and features Outlets at each booth Liked having condiments at the tables Needed to be cleaned A little confusing when walking out of the cafeteria The eating area is generally nice, modern and clean. The dinery is extremely cramped, and there s no sense of direction whatsoever. Lines are long and unorganized. There s a distinct lack of signage. Not good for people with anxiety. Huge turnoff. Plate drop off area was messy, dirty and over crowded Lighting was eerily blue, like a prison

10 Value REV 6.75 Western 8.25 SJU 6.25 Pretty good value. The portions are big so you ll get a filling meal out of it. May be a problem for those with smaller stomachs. Food is a pretty good quality, enough to justify the price. Little over priced for the portions received As usual I like to eat and often I feel like I don t get enough of what I ask for for what I am paying for. Lots of options by weight, so it feels like you get what you pay for Other prices comparable to REV/V1 Some items felt worth it, others seemed over-priced Lack of smaller portions at some booths Given a giant dish to fill with whatever you want for $10, which is fairly cheap Quality of the food often isn t worth the money, lack of options make it difficult for people who want less food (one price for any amount of food) Could fill up the plate as much as we wanted and literally build towers of food to slowly enjoy at the table.
