2 The first El Mexicana store opened in December 2011 in Sheffield s busy Meadowhall Shopping Centre. This was quickly followed by a store in Illford in Central London. In 2012 a deal was put in place with Extra Motorway services to open stores in prominent locations such as Cambridge, Baldock, Beaconsfield, Peterborough and the UK s busiest motorway service area Cobham. This proved to be a key move in the El Mexicana Business Strategy. El Mexicana have since opened a further eleven stores in locations such as Harrow, Woking, Guildford, Romford, Southend, Oxford, Worcester, Sutton and Swindon with the remaining two in Leads and Reading opening their doors early this year. There are a considerable number of new store openings planned throughout 2016 in a variety of popular locations. As you can see, El Mexicana has been an instant hit, opening a whopping 18 stores over the last 4 years. We have built El Mexicana into the Number One franchised, authentic, Mexican, casual dining chain across the UK.

3 Development and roll out has been in line with our business plan but there are other brands with a similar business model out there who are trying to catch us up; of course we have no intention of letting this happen and in turn have strengthened our central team to help us grow at a faster pace, concentrating on our extensive new unit opening programme. Within our growth we have ensured that development of store designs, menu compilation, operating model and site selection have been carefully monitored and modified to maximum effect. We need limited extraction to maintain our freshly prepared offer but can work with different footprints and Landlord restraints. We want our customers to be able to have access to us in any location; because of this we have developed a full range of models to help us gravitate between fast food and casual dining. We already have busy kiosk units on a Motorway Services or Shopping Centre Food Courts and stand-alone Mall unit with 50 covers, to a full in line 100 cover restaurants.

4 About Mexican Food The Mexicana dishes we are familiar with are derived from the traditional diet of the Mayan and Aztec Indians, with French and Spanish influences added to the mix over time. Staple foods include beans, rice and corn (eaten fresh or used to maje masa, a dough for tortillas and similar foods). Herbs and spices and widely used particularly chilis, coriander, cinnamon and cocoa. Tomatoes, garlic and onions also feature in many dishes. The food we serve at El Mexicana is reminiscent of that served by the traditional vendors who operate in the towns and cities of Mexico. Mexican cuisine is considered one of the most varied in the world. At El Mexicana we deliver a relaxed, authentic experience with fast, fun street food for all the family.

5 Our Customer Offer We pride ourselves in offering a variety of Mexican food that is tasty, satisfying and great value. What more our food is made from fresh quality ingredients; each order is made to the customers exact requirements. We use traditional recipes to give out customers that real taste of Mexico. Our core range is based around five meals Burritos, Tacos, Sombrero Basket, Nachos and Salas. All meals are served with a choice of meat or vegetarian filling and extras including rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and lettuce A selection of delicious salsas ranging from mild to extremely hot this allows the customers to personalise their meal to their own tastes A great choice of side orders including potato wedges, sweet potato fries and tortilla chips Drinks and deserts including our famous churros (Mexican doughnuts) with choice of dipping sauce A range of alcoholic drinks and cocktails are available in selected locations V We cater for a range of dietary requirements for those following specific diets for health or religious reasons, providing gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and halal options. We have brand deals in place and a popular loyalty scheme that is interconnected across all stores ensuring customer retention.
