5 Good Manners / Bad Manners Please note: You have the option of 5 different templates for this file folder game. 4 separate children of different nationalities and frog / bunny. Choose the template you would like to use and print up on white card stock. First page is graphic and directions for file folder game. After printing up the 4 pages you are using, cut and trim the front page. (Graphic and directions). Attach to the front of the file folder game using double sided tape. Page 2 and 3 will be attached to the inside of the file folder full sheets using double sided tape. Manner circles cut out and laminate. To keep circle pieces in place, place a piece of Velcro on the back of each circle and onto the file folder game. This will keep pieces from sliding. Directions: Talk to child about each circle. Read it out loud to child. Ask them if this is a good manner or a bad manner. Have child place the bad manners in a circle with the frog, and the good manners in a circle with the bunny. To store the game pieces, use a zip-lock baggie. Attach Velcro to the baggie and the back of the file folder game. (Or store inside the file folder in a baggie Learn Curriculum

29 Manner Match Up Cards Print out 2 sets of the cards onto white card stock. Cut out and laminate the cards. Turn over and have the children use them as a Match-Up game. The cards can also be used as a file folder game. Print out 2 copies of the cards onto white card stock. Attach 1 full sheet to the inside right hand side of the file folder using double sided tape. Trim the other sheet. Use clear contact paper or self-laminating sheets to cover finished game. If you use as a file folder game, use the following sheet to attach to the front of the file folder game. This is a graphic and game description Learn Curriculum

32 Fork, Spoon or Hands? When teaching children table manners, it s polite to eat your food using the right utensils. Use this game to help them learn when to use their fork, spoon or hands. Print up the fork, spoon and hands food sheets onto white card stock. Laminate for durability. Cut out the food pictures on the following pages. Laminate. Invite the children to the table and discuss the polite way to eat each food. Then have the children sort the food onto the appropriate sheet. Note: using Velcro on the back of the food pieces and sheets will keep the pieces from sliding around Learn Curriculum

Place the fork and spoon sheet inside the file folder, and the hands sheet to the back of the file folder. Use clear contact paper or self-laminating sheets to laminate each side.
