1 Dinosaur Dig Plastic Bin Plastic Dinosaurs Potting Soil Plastic Shovels Objective: Students will seek to learn about dinosaurs as they dig in the soil. Description of Activity: Using your hands or any other tools you want, dig for the dinosaurs that are buried in the dirt. Try to find all the different dinosaurs that are in the dirt.

2 Matching Scents Cotton Balls Film Canisters Variety of Scents Objective: Students will use their sense to identify what the different scents are. Description of Activity: Using your nose you are going to match the different scents together. In the film canisters there are cotton balls with different scents on them, you need to match the two scents that go together.

3 Snow Slime Elmer s Glue Warm Water Peppermint Oil Borax Glitter Objective: Students will observe the changes in the ingredients as they mix their Snow Slime together. Description of Activity: You will be creating your own slime with a partner. In one bowl combine 1 cup chilled white school glue, 3/4 cup of very warm water you can also add a few drops of peppermint oil if you desire. In another bowl combine1/4 teaspoon and 1/8 teaspoon of chilled borax and 1/2 cup and 3 tablespoons of very warm water. Mix the ingredients of both bowls well and then combine both bowls and mix. You will need to mix this mixture with your hands. Add glitter to your mixture to make it shimmer. Place in bags and take with you once you are done.

4 Galaxy Bottles Baby Oil Food Coloring Glitter Water Objective: Students will examine the different viscosities of different liquids when they create their Anti Gravity Galaxy Bottles. Description of Activity: Using your water bottle, pull off the label and fill half the bottle with baby oil add the glitter on top of the baby oil, you will need to add about 1 teaspoon of glitter. After you have added the glitter fill the remaining part of the bottle with water. Then add food coloring until the desired color is reached. After screw the lid on tight and shake the bottle vigorously and watch the glitter settle.

5 Sea Foam Bin Water Dawn Dish Soap Corn Starch Liquid Watercolors Objective: Students will create their own Sea Foam and then engage in creative play using the Sea Foam. Description of Activity: You will be creating your own Sea Foam to do this you need to mix equal parts water to equal parts dish soap (I suggest doing one cup of water to one cup of dish soap). After you have put your dish soap and water in your bowl add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Using the hand mixer mix all of these ingredients together. Once you are done mixing them together dump them into the sensory bin. Make more as you need. Enjoy playing with your Sea Foam!

6 Squishy Noodles Spaghetti Noodles Food Coloring Olive Oil Objective: Students will use their five senses to delve into the spaghetti noodles. Description of Activity: Students will play with spaghetti noodles that have been cooked and colored with food coloring. Students will use all five senses to explore the spaghetti noodles. Be creative on what you do with the spaghetti noodles.

7 Fizzy Cloud Dough Flour Baking Soda Vegetable Oil Bowl Food Coloring Bin Objective: Students will create Fizzy Cloud Dough then they will explore its properties by using their 5 senses. Description of Activity: Start by making your Fizzy Cloud Dough you will need to mix ½ cup flour, ½ cup baking soda, to 1/8 cup of oil. This will create a play dough like substance. You will be able to mold and play with this dough. Once you are done playing with this dough you can add vinegar and watch the scientific reaction that happens with your dough.

8 Moon Sand Sand Bin Sand Toys Flour Baby Oil Objective: Children will explore the properties of Moon Sand and what senses they can use while playing with Moon Sand. Description of Activity: To mix the Moon Sand you need to mix 3 cups of play sand, 3 cups of flour, and 1 cup of baby oil or cooking oil. Make sure you place this in a big bin or on a large plate so kids can play with this Moon Sand. Provide sand tools or other objects for the students to play with in the Moon Sand.

9 Magnetic Slime Elmer s Glue Warm Water Magnetic Powder Borax Glitter Objective: Students will observe the changes in the ingredients as they mix their Magnetic Slime together. They will then be able to use magnets to play with their slime to understand its properties. Description of Activity: In one bowl combine 1 cup chilled white school glue, 3/4 cup of very warm water you can also add a few drops of peppermint oil if you desire, you will also be adding your magnetic powder to this solution. In another bowl combine1/4 teaspoon and 1/8 teaspoon of chilled borax and 1/2 cup and 3 tablespoons of very warm water. Mix the ingredients of both bowls well and then combine both bowls and mix. You will need to mix this mixture with your hands. Once you are finished mixing you will be able to play with this mixture with magnets.
