Leaves with stipules c. 1.5 mm long, linear, eglandular, caducous; petioles 2 3 mm long, terete, eglandular, with sparse appressed pubescence; lamina lanceolate, coriaceous, cm, acuminate at apex with acumen 8 20 mm long, cuneate at base, with sparse appressed hairs beneath and few palisade glands; midrib prominulous above, glabrescent; primary veins pairs, slightly prominent on both surfaces. Inflorescences terminal and axillary panicles 3 6 mm long; rachis and branches sparsely pubescent. Bracts and bracteoles 1 2 mm long, acute, ovate, eglandular, persistent. Receptacle campanulate, sparsely puberulous on exterior, glabrous within except around throat; pedicels 1 2 mm long. Calyx lobes acute, sparsely puberulous on exterior, puberulous within. Stamens 3, unilateral; filaments glabrous, far exserted. Ovary inserted at mouth of receptacle, pilose. Style glabrous except at base.
