Yes, it is Cabernet, yes there is a touch of oak in this young, rich and new But it isn t like all of them it offers a new kind of generosity, lusciousness and freshness, pretty unique in the field of the top wines around the world. The colour is deep, full of youth. The nose blows wide with the delicate and rich fruit flavours paired with a hint of elegant vanilla, wood and charming spices. A perfect precursor for the mouthfeel which brings your palate into ecstasy vibrant, fresh and strong Cabernet with finesse and a long, strong finish. 9 FACT SHEET Italian Riesling 2016 ITALIAN RIESLING 2015 IN ESSENCE: Grape Variety: Country: Region: Vintage: ABV: Colour: Product Type: Bottle Size: ITALIAN RIESLING China Ningxia % white still 750 ml CHATEAU CHANGYU People love its refreshing style, its spirit-lifting elements of fruit and its ability of being luscious enough to support all kind of food dishes around the world. TASTING NOTES by Lenz M. Moser, Chief Winemaker Chateau Changyu Moser XV: 2016 being a great year in Ningxia with vines between years old The light colour indicates also its lightness in alc: 12.5%. The perfume is powered by primary aromas of fresh flowers reminding me of a spring meadow, with the bees humming from plant to plant. Citrus elements spark freshness and are adding to a complex nose already. The wine is a sheer delight for easy drinking so quaffable, you want more and more of it. However, its backbone and its character make it also a serious wine. I did grow up with Italian Riesling as this grape variety was one of the predominant wines of Austria at the time and it is still big in certain countries in central Europe.
