The local wine Morellino di Scansano is made few kilometers from the Agriturismo and you will enjoy an exciting wine tour during the grape harvest. An unforgettable experience: having your wine tasting paired with dishes of the local Tuscan traditional cuisine, directly in the winery, overlooking a sea of green rolling hills. Art and history are always part of a journey in Tuscany. Capalbio, Siena and Florence are some of the amazing towns and villages you will discover with a local art guide. We will take you to the place that once was the checkpoint on the border of the Papal State and Grand Duchy of Tuscany. 4 Florence one of the most enchanting cities in Italy, will be the final scene of your journey. You will be based in the old town centre, few steps from Uffizi National Museum, Galleria dell Accademia (Michelangelo s David) and Brunelleschi Dome. You will enjoy a walking tour among the local Mercato Centrale and an original Tuscan dinner at one of the most famous traditional restaurant. 5 DAY 2 Rome gourmet A gourmet guide will pick you up and take you to a cooking class experience in a very exclusive and unique setting. You will learn how to make each of the classic Roman pasta sauces to perfection so that you can replicate them easily at home, and learn the differences between various kinds of pastas and how to pair them with the sauce. Wines and delicious local appetizers will accompany the entire experience. Once the sauces are done and the pastas ready to be tossed into the simmering water, you will be lead into the dining room to enjoy the fruits of your hard work, paired with local wine. In the afternoon, enjoy your relax, do some sightseeing or shopping, or just linger on your wonderful rooftop bar overlooking Rome. 6 DAY 3 Capalbio, heart of Maremma After a full breakfast in the eternal town. Arrive to your amazing Agriturismo, a countryside little farm transformed in a lovely B&B, here you will find the owner greeting with a welcome glass of his home made wine upon arrival. A very local experience is waiting for you for the late afternoon: in a farm restaurant, you will learn how to make each of the classic Tuscan pastas and sauces to perfection so that you can replicate them easily at home. Home made Wines and delicious local appetizers arranged by the chef/owner will accompany the entire experience. 7 Day 4 - Harvest Breakfast: Enjoy a delicious Tuscan Breakfast outside on the terrace overlooking the green rolling hills. Today will be a unique experience: a wine tour during the harvest! Transfer from Capalbio towards Scansano, by comfortable chauffeured car along the legendary roman street Via Aurelia. You'll enjoy an exciting visit in the vineyards during the harvest! The hospitality manager will take you through the vines to see harvest process and then to the cellar where grapes become wine and where the wines age. After the visit, you will enjoy a professional tasting of a selection of wines with personalized tasting sheets. 8 Day 5 Montalcino and Siena For wine lovers coming from all over the world Montalcino is the place of the great Brunello red wine. Today after a delicious Tuscan breakfast in Capalbio you will leave towards Montalcino. From the time of Ancient Rome to the present day, the Argiano estate has made the history of the territory of Montalcino, becoming one of its most prestigious and traditional elements, a valuable ambassador for its wines in the world and proud to have contributed to the birth of the Brunello Consortium. You will have an exciting tour of the winery and a gorgeous tasting of Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino. A delicious traditional lunch in the middle of an amazing landscape is the perfect local gourmet experience. 9 Day 6 Chianti Classico Wake up in Siena and transfer with your private chauffeured Mercedes to the UNESCO World Heritage, San Gimignano, the Town of Towers. Your personal guide will take you on a special emotional tour of the town.
