The mouth feel combines elegance,finesse and a fleshy and silky body. Notes evolve towards spices with ageing. Classic Beaujolais with soft, supple tannins, drinking well now. This Beaujolais is a beautiful ruby colour. Very pure aromas, with hints of red berries and the scent of English candles which is typical of Beaujolais wines. On the palate, vibrant strawberry and raspberry flavours are complimented by wonderfully soft tannins. Moillard Côte de Beaune Village Pinot Noir AOC Côte de Beaune, Burgundy Coming from several different villages, this wine has an unusually smooth style and lots of finesse. Well-rounded with agreeably discreet tannins, it is very well balanced. Can be drunk young but with excellent ageing potential for 8 to 10 years.
