Stepping aboard you will immediately notice a signature Krogen feature, a fully covered cockpit. And the Krogen 48 cockpit is expansive! May of our owners refer to this area as their "back porch". Walking through a door (weather door) is a covered side deck leading to the foredeck. Fueling of all three tanks is done here on the starboard side, a real convenience! 3 Entering the saloon, a built-in settee is to port with storage beneath. To starboard is a dinette area, with storage beneath. Cabernet is slightly different here, to me feels like a bistro setting, really nice having the extra open space! The entertainment flatscreen TV is connected to the KVY satellite system, has a built-in DVD player and is ideally mounted on the backside of the upper galley cabinetry, creating a very social area. This yacht is equipped with a Webasto hydraunic heating system and was completely gone through in The galley is to starboard and is u-shaped. Many of the appliances were updated in Such as a NovaCool 12/110 volt refrig/freezer, Princess Gourmet II - 3 burner stove/oven and MillogMarine water filtration system. Rounding out the epicurean's needs is a GE Profile convection microwave oven. Storage is a true attribute in the Krogen 48 and CABERNET offers some features you'll certainly find smart! Across from the galley is a desk/library and a combo washer and dryer, in an enclosed cabinet with a pantry below. Down four steps to the living quarters, the guest stateroom is to starboard. This area is considered more of a 'den' to our owners. This stateroom features a desk, a settee that converts to make into a double berth, a pullman bunk, a large hanging locker and plenty of drawers for your guests. Ventilation is provided by three opening portlights. Across from the guest stateroom to port is the guest/day head with large separate stall shower and storage shelves inboard of the shower. This is a unique feature by the way! Proceeding forward into the owner's stateroom is an island queen sized berth flanked by seats, very convenient for putting shoes on or just relaxing after your day's trip to enjoy a great book. At the aft end of the berth is a chest of drawers and another unique feature of CABERNET is a make up desk! Storage is plentiful as there are even more drawers at the end of the berth, two large hanging lockers and cubby storage around the berth. The owner's head is en-suite with a separate stall shower. Toilets are Sealand Vacuuflush units. A flatscreen TV is mounted on the starboard side and is connected to the KVH satellite system. From the saloon, up three steps is the command center, Pilothouse. The Krogen 48's pilothouse is extremely comfortable and offers a wide view. Aft is the settee and table. The settee pulls out to make into a double watch berth if so desired. The Todd helm chair is not a fixed type, allowing for more usable options in this area. Please take note of the updated navigational suite in the spec sections! Many of our owners enjoy lunches or dinners right here - yes it's that nice of an area! Ask us to show you the cavernous storage beneath the helm area!!! Exiting the pilothouse either port or starboard side doors and proceeding forward to the foredeck, you'll certainly enjoy having a glass of local vinted CABERNET whilst toasting to your new anchorage! What a cool feature...storage beneath the seating area too. Back around and up four steps leads you to the boat deck and flybridge. Yet another huge social area!
