He has therefore been working as a skipper ever since. Boris completed his MCA/RYA Yacht Master Offshore based in the Solent, UK and holds D2 Basic Safety (STCW) Certificate.

9 L A G O O N C R E W CREW PRESENTS HEART OF EVERY YACHT Boris Vrhovac Captain Boris Vrhovac, born 1979 in Zagreb, Croatia, has been sailing since he was a boy. First with his parents, and then as he grew older he continued to sail with his friends. After his first job as a skipper when he was 19, he knew that this was exactly what he wanted to do in life. He has therefore been working as a skipper ever since. Boris completed his MCA/RYA Yacht Master Offshore based in the Solent, UK and holds D2 Basic Safety (STCW) Certificate. He is a fluent English speaker and can get by in Italian, French and German. His passions for the sea, nice food and fine wine are easily contagious; Boris will make just anyone fall in love with his world. He has a calm nature which makes him pleasant to be around and which enables him to keep a cool head to handle any situation that could occur. WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY BESIDES MY WORK, SEA & BOATS: I am passionate about wines, pairing wine with high end cuisine. In 2015 I have realized my dream of becoming a certified sommelier.

While in college, she started working in her father s restaurants where Marina discovered her passion for cuisine both traditional and modern.

10 Marina Andrijašević Hostess/Deck help Marina Andrijasevic was born in1982 in Zagreb, Croatia. From her early age she was drawn to the art of food preparation and didn t take long before she was pulled in and is still mesmerized by it. While in college, she started working in her father s restaurants where Marina discovered her passion for cuisine both traditional and modern. Since then her love for cooking drove her to constantly improve her skills and broaden her menu repertoire. Marina is fluent in English & Italian. She is a bachelor of visual communication & graphic design, graduated at Academia Italiana / Firenze. Being equally in love with Croatian landscapes, sea and cuisine, becoming a hostess for Adriatic Sailing was a very natural thing to do. Marina s mission is making your holiday on Adriatic Queen the best you ever had - a truly royal experience.
