A subtle wine that builds on the palate. It's sort of like a weight-lifting ballerina. Give this big wine time. Really impressive. Best after Wine Spectator 97/ Chateau L'Evangile ( 1 ) Complex aromas of blackberry, fresh mushrooms, tobacco and wet earth. Full-bodied, soft and luxurious texture to this ripe and opulent wine. Long and decadent too. Just coming around now. Give it more time. L'Evangile at its finest.
