2 October, November, December 2013 Manager s Message Fall seems to sneak up on us, doesn t it? But I have to admit, this is my favorite season. The hot days and nights of summer lead into nice, cool sunny days and even cooler, crisp nights. Then of course, winter blows in with its ice and snow and ruins everything ha ha, can you tell that winter is my least favorite season? But, winter s saving grace, is it ushers in the Holiday season laden with special times spent with family and friends. Here at the Cooking School, we offer classes that help you celebrate all these holidays; for both adults and children. You can come to learn to make gifts for giving or something new for your holiday table. We also have quite a few family events where you can celebrate special times. Did you also know that if you have any type of group: Scout, Youth, Sports, Bible Study, etc., you can book private classes tailored to your needs? Give us a call and see what we can do for you. It doesn t matter why you come, we will be glad to see you and share these wonderful seasons! Elizabeth Bauld Rochester Cooking School Manager Kids Kitchen PAGE 3 We find that more and more children are watching the Food Network and have a love for cooking. Take advantage of this young love and bring them to cooking classes. Our classes are offered for kids as young as age 4 and go through teens. With parents working, we are also seeing teenagers who enjoy cooking, coming to learn how to plan and make dinner many nights when Mom or Dad work late. For some quality family time, we offer Gingerbread House making classes where you can t help but have a good time making your very own creation. For older kids, their hands are so busy creating, they may even stop texting for the time you are here! For that reason alone, doesn t it make you want to sign up?! Keep in mind, when you are looking for presents for the children on your list, we offer gift certificates in any denomination. We even have Cooking School t-shirts for sale that complement the gift certificate. We can complete your orders over the phone and mail it directly to you in plenty of time for gift giving. Adult Classes PAGE 5 As always, our adult classes represent the best of the fall and holiday seasons. We have demonstration and hands on classes for those who want to cook healthier, learn to make something new for a big family celebration, or cooking with seasonal vegetables. If you love to cook, hate to cook, or are somewhere in between; we have classes that you will enjoy. Bring a friend, a spouse, a sibling or an offspring for a fun, different night out. Remember when you are looking for gifts, we offer gift certificates in any denomination. We can even save you a trip to the store by calling the office with your order and we will mail it directly to you or your recipient. 1 TOPS COOKING SCHOOL ROCHESTER
