1 3 rd Bartender G&T Cup Competition Bled, Slovenia 1 st April 2009 INVITATION Dear Sirs or Madams, We are pleased to invite you to the 3 rd bartender G&T Cup Competition. The competition is organised for students from schools, members of AEHT Association. Students will compete in different theoretical and practical skills, required for mixing drinks. We would like to host students from several European countries to make this event a real international meeting. The competition will be held on 1 st April 2009 at Vocational College for Catering and Tourism Bled, Slovenia. 2 1. THE COMPETITION CONSISTS OF THREE PARTS. Barman knowledge test (multiple choice questions ) Power Point presentation (the topic of the presentation is promotion of Coca-Cola products you should find the best way to promote Coca-Cola in a Bar, discover new approaches and methods, describe ideas for example preparing cocktails with Coca-Cola products). The presentation should last for minutes. Long drink preparation (It is necessary to use one syrup and one liqueur by LUKIN d.o.o. and Coca-Cola products.) 2. INGREDIENTS FOR THE BAR COMPETITION * COCA-COLA Fanta Sprite Coca Cola Zero Burn (energy drink) * LUKIN d.o.o. company Syrups GIFFARD (brand) Fig syrup Violet syrup Mango syrup De Cassis Liquerurs GIFFARD (brand) Wild Strawberry liqueur Melon liqueur Vanilla from Madagascar liqueur OTHE INGRIDIENTS AND DECORATION AND BAR TOOLS HAVE TO BE BROUGHT BY THE COMPETITORS THEMSELVES!!!! The list of sponsors is attached.

3 3. GENERAL RULES: Maximum number of ingredients should be 5 including dashes and drops; Total alcohol content should not exceed 7cl of spirit and liqueurs. All ingredients must be written in centilitres; Competitors have to bring their own glasses; Decoration must be prepared in the preparatory room; Time allowed for mixing fancy cocktail is 7 minutes; The appearance, flavour and taste of each cocktail as well as the professional work will be assessed according to IBA (International Bartender Association) rules; Each competitor has to wear his/her school uniform; Spirit measure must be used. (No free pouring allowed). Each competitor must bring his own cocktail equipment for use in this competition. The organizer reserves the right to reject any competitor not considering the above written rules. Competitors will have to prepare four portions of a long drink 4. PRIZES 1 st Place: PC-notebook 2 nd Place: Digital Foto Camera 3 rd : Place: All in one printer and others extra prizes!
