Glera is the grape used to make Prosecco, the most famous Italian sparkling wine around. Bianco is a straw-yellow wine with small, long lasting natural bubbles and a pleasant scent of ripe pear and citrus on the nose. It s fruity and moderately dry on the palate. Ciao Rosato Sparkling Cans 24 x 200ml Ciao Rosato is made from a combination of Glera and Raboso grapes. As with the Glera, the red variety Raboso has been specially selected from vineyards in the same area, Marca Trevigiana. Using the Raboso gives a nice lively pink colour to the Rosato. Also like the Bianco, the light and refreshing Rosato displays small but persistent natural bubbles, this time with a pleasant scent of flowers on the nose. COTO MAYOR Nearly four hours North of Madrid, the El Coto de Rioja winery can be found on the edge of the town of Oyón in province Álava (in the Basque country, Northern Spain). Exclusively imported through our buying group, the winery was founded in 1970 by a group of wine experts and today they are one of the leaders of the Rioja qualified Destination of Origin (DOC). Since then they have become the preferred Spanish Rioja and are exported to some 50 countries. The winery enjoys a continental climate, with influences of the Atlantic and Mediterranean too upon their 500 hectare estate. COTO MAYOR BLANCO RIOJA 6 x 75cl Made with 100% Viura grapes, the Blanco is clean and bright with a pale yellow colour. It s intense on the nose, with flavours of tropical fruit and citrus and smoky notes. The mouth delivers a powerful, fresh attack that gives way to a round texture balanced with a good acidity, releasing those fresh aromas. A very well balanced wine, enjoy with BBQ chicken, nachos or gammon. COTO MAYOR CRIANZA RIOJA 6 x 75cl Uses 100% Tempranillo from the three sub-zones of the Rioja: Baja, Alta and Alavesa. It s a ruby red coloured wine with fresh fruit aromas that are preserved in the nose alongside typical liquorice aromas from the oak and hints of vanilla. It s a versatile food matching wine, perfect with white meat, certain fish (particularly cod), chilli con carne and mild cheese. COTO MAYOR ROSADO RIOJA 6 x 75cl Made with an equal split of Tempranillo and Garnacha, the colour is pale pink, almost strawberry. The nose is sweet offering fresh strawberries and caramel and the mouth too is fresh and sweet.
