Chapter (see page 7 for map and transportation options) Join us for the Official Texas Exes Tailgate presented by Deep Eddy Vodka in partnership with the LBJ Center and Archer Center before the Longhorns kick off their 2018 football season against the Maryland Terrapins. Located at the Budlight Pavilion at FedExField (between gates F and G) Open to all friends, family, and Longhorns! Tailgate is from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. (event area and cash bar will stay open until kickoff at Noon) Live music, breakfast, drink specials, live radio broadcast, Longhorn pep rally, games, photo booth, and more! 4 OFFICIAL TEXAS EXES WEEKEND EVENTS LONGHORNS ON THE HILL BREAKFAST AND RECEPTION WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER THE LIASON CAPITOL HILL HOTEL Join members of Congress, UT Austin leadership, and your fellow Texas Exes for the fourth-annual Longhorns on the Hill in Washington, D.C. The day starts with a congressional breakfast featuring a special keynote speaker at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel (415 New Jersey Avenue Northwest, Washington, D.C., Tickets are $40 in advance. During the day, there will be legislative office visits on the Hill to discuss higher education priorities. The evening concludes with a free cocktail reception with UT leadership, Texas Exes Washington D.C. Chapter, and friends back at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel. Registration is required. Chapter has an exclusive offer for discounted baseball game tickets throughout the weekend as the Nationals host the Milwaukee Brewers during a three-day series. Friday, Aug. 31 at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at 7:05 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 at 1:35 p.m. Ticket includes a free food/beverage credit valid at any concession stand serving food, drinks, and adult beverages. The scoreboard pavilion seats include an $8 food/beverage credit and both the left- and right-field corner seats and infield box seats behind the dugouts include a $10 food/beverage credit. $4 of each ticket sold will be donated to the Texas Exes Washington D.C. 8 TRANSPORTATION TO THE TAILGATE AND GAME METRO The stadium is accessible via Metro on the Blue or Silver lines to the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station. Upon exiting the station, turn left onto Garrett Morgan Boulevard and follow the sidewalk to FedExField. Saturday metro service begins at 7 a.m. Fares vary based on origin. We encourage you to calculate your roundtrip fare cost and purchase cards in advance to avoid lines at the station. Tip: stand on the right, walk on the left side of the escalators. 9 TRANSPORTATION TO THE TAILGATE AND GAME DRIVING/PARKING Texas spaces will be in lots Orange E and F, near the entrance of the official Texas Tailgate. Passes are available for purchase at dctexasexes.org/store/parking-pass Note: Parking permits are to be used for cars only, not for additional tailgating space or storage. Cars must be in one space only and between the white lines. Lots open at 8 a.m. From Northern Virginia, Howard, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel Counties: I-495/I-95 to Exit 16 (Arena Drive) and follow to stadium. From Washington, D.C.: East Capitol Street (becomes Central Avenue) toward Maryland. Turn left onto Brightseat Road, follow to Arena Drive and turn left. Follow to stadium. RIDE-SHARING Uber is the official ride-sharing partner of FedExField. All pickups and drop-offs must occur in the dedicated Uber Zone located north of the stadium (opposite side from tailgate and metro) at the Prince George s County Sports Complex at 8001 Sheriff Rd, Hyattsville, MD
