It is a typical winter apple variety, picked in late October or early November, and then used through the winter months. Juicy, crisp and mildly sweet with a rich, aromatic sub-acid flavor, noted for high vitamin C content. More tart and crunchier than most, it is a good dessert and pie apple that is also used for juice and cider. Honey Crisp The fruit is mostly orange-red with a yellow background. This crisp, juicy, sweet-tart apple has a rich flavor that has made it #1 in taste panels. The fruit averages 3 inches. Outstanding winter hardiness gives this variety excellent potential for northern growing regions. This apple is good for snacking, salads and sauce-making, and stores well. Royal Court (New this year) A newly patented red blushed strain of the popular Cortland apple cultivar. The fruit is very high quality with typical firm Cortland flesh and sweet sub-acid flavor. Royal Court blooms in mid-season and will pollinate all other early blooming apple varieties, varieties blooming in the middle of the season, and also varieties blooming late in the season. Golden Delicious (New this year) One of the most important apple varieties of the 20th century, both as a commercial variety in its own right, and as breeding stock for many other varieties. Golden Delicious is a large, yellow skinned cultivar and very sweet to the taste. The apple is excellent for eating fresh, baking pies and making apple sauce or apple butter.

A large, heavy-bearing variety with excellent quality. A favorite for all uses and considered one of the best canning varieties. Bartlett requires cross pollination and ripens in late August. The leaves turn from green to yellow in the fall, and it grows lovely white flowers. It requires full sun, good moisture in the soil along with good drainage. Clapp s Favorite The pears are greenish-yellow with a hint of red and are sweet, delicious, and full of flavor; quite good for cooking, as well as bottling or canning. The pears are normally harvested from mid-august to late September and, unlike most pears, they ripen just fine if left on the tree. If pruned correctly, Clapp's Favorite Pear tree is a great addition to small gardens. It also attracts pollinating insects such as bees, which are drawn to the tree s flowers for nectar. Peach Trees (Semi-Dwarf) $20.50 Reliance Well known for its cold hardiness, this variety is ideal for the home garden. Fruits are medium to large and the bright yellow firm flesh is honey sweet, and freestone. Self pollinating and ripens early. Ripens in late July and is self pollinating. Excellent for fresh eating or in preserves. This lovely accent or border tree provides a showy display of white flowers in spring. A pollenizer is not necessary, but fruit production will be increased when another Plum tree is planted nearby. Stanley (New this year) Is one of the most tasteful and reliable varieties of plums. The fruit is sweet and juicy, though firm. The smooth skin is deep violet purple with greenish yellow flesh. The fruit is excellent fresh as well as canned, high sugar content makes them ideal for drying. It blooms late in the spring and is mostly selffertile, though it benefits from a pollinator nearby. Cherry Trees (Semi-Dwarf) $20.50 Montmorency (New this year) This sour cherry is the most popular pie and dessert cherry in the USA. It's large, bright red fruit is very attractive, with firm yellow flesh. It is very cold tolerant and disease resistant. Montmorency is self-pollinating and ripens in late-july.
