3 Open Exhibit Hall Exhibits must be entered on colored Youth or Adult entry forms and must have matching color entry tags attached to the exhibit. Premiums for all Open Exhibits: Blue $1.50, Red $1.00, White.75 Best of Show will receive $5.00 Department A Animals 4-H Animals may NOT be used for open class. All dogs must be immunized with DHL, Parvo and rabies vaccine. A photocopy documenting all vaccinations must be available to staff before the show. 4-H Dogs may NOT be used. 1. Obedience Division 7 Cats Shown on Monday, July 24, 2:00 pm in the Exhibit Hall. No more than 1 cat may be entered by an exhibitor. Cats shall be free of fleas, ticks, ear mites, worms and other parasites and infectious diseases. Cats are required to have current rabies and distemper vaccinations. Documentation must be available to staff before the show. No expectant or nursing mother cats may be entered. 4-H Cats may NOT be used 1. 4 Department B Grains & Seeds Enter in Exhibit Hall on Tuesday July 25, from 8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. Exhibits will be selected for type, uniformity, quality, and maturity. All exhibits must be raised by the exhibitor. No exhibitor shall be allowed more than one entry for each premium. All exhibits must be true to entry as to variety and classification or otherwise they may be changed by the judges and superintendents. 7 Canning Fruits and vegetables will not be opened. All other goods may be opened at discretion of the judge. **NEW** Processing Methods - current USDA processing methods must be followed. Jams, preserves & marmalades, fruit, tomatoes & pickled vegetables must be processed in a boiling water bath, (tomatoes may be processed in a pressured canner). All non-acid vegetables, salsa and meats must be processed in a pressure canner. Spoilage disqualifies entries. Paraffin should not be used on jams, jellies, & marmalades.
