A 100 year old heirloom tomato, regular leaf, 6', vigorous plants yielding abundant crops of 8oz, round rose pink tomatoes. Considered one of the best tasting varieties with well balanced sweet/tart flavors. Much esteemed for its ability to produce flavorful tomatoes under adverse conditions: high heat, humidity or drought. Crack & disease resistant. AUNT GINNY S PURPLE Heirloom days Indeterminate This heirloom beefsteak variety has flavor so excellent and rich that some folks claim it is equal to or better than Brandywine. 4 SAN MARZANO Heirloom 78 days Semi determinate From Italy, this bright red plum type tomato is prized for its firm pulp, low seed count, easily removed skin and rich flavor. SIBERIAN Heirloom days Determinate Siberian is well known for its fast ripening fruits, setting fruit in cool weather when other varieties don t. One of the earliest varieties on the market, takes only 7 weeks after transplant. This Russian tomato produces good yields of flavorful 5 oz bright red tomatoes. STUPICE Heirloom days Indeterminate One of four tomato varieties sent to the U.S. from the former Czechoslovakia, by Milan Sodomka. Pumps out fruit over entire season till frost. Plant is potato leafed, 4 foot tall and loaded with 2½ by 2 inch diameter fruits borne in clusters. Pronounce it "Stew Peach Ka." Unlike many other varieties it can take the heat. Produces very early, and gives great flavor. Should be a staple in your garden. YELLOW PEAR Heirloom 73 days Indeterminate Charming pear shaped "minis" that are hard to resist. The 1 3/4in, sunny yellow fruits are borne in heavy clusters on large, rangy plants that should be staked or caged. 'Yellow Pear' has a pleasant, mild flavor and special eye appeal when served as appetizers or snacks. Children enjoy eating them fresh from the vine. BETTER BELLE SWEET PEPPER 65 days Hybrid Even blockier, thicker walled & earlier than the original these four lobed peppers mature from green to bright red, usually used when green. Compact & vigorous plants, that maintains its large fruit size & production throughout a long season. Excellent for salads, stuffing, gourmet dishes. TMV resistant. BIG EARLY SWEET PEPPER 70 days Hybrid If you want to grow a giant pepper for grilling or stuffing, this one makes bells big enough for two people. A classic sweet pepper taste in a larger than life size. Big Early plants produce elongated, bell type peppers. Blocky, 7 to 8 inch long fruits have three to four lobes packed with sweet flavor and crisp crunch. If left on the plant, fruits change from glossy dark green to bright red. BLACK COBRA HOT PEPPER 90 days Heirloom An exotic, very hot pepper variety having 3" long fruits that ripen from green to black to red and have a fairly hot flavor, becoming hotter the more they mature. Striking in appearance the tall plants have stems and leaves are covered in silvery fuzz. BHUT JALOKIA HOT PEPPER (Ghost Pepper) days At more than 1,000,000 Scoville units, the intensity of the pepper is able to create a very strong pain sensation lasting up to 30 minutes, eat with extreme caution. When handling the Ghost, CAUTION do not get any in or near the eyes as the pepper can create a very intense burn. Fruits are 2 1/2 3 inches in length and ripen orange red to red in color. 5 CARMEN SWEET PEPPER HYBRID days For sweet peppers that taste wonderful raw or roasted, plant Carmen. This award winning Italian pepper is a bull's horn type, that is sweet even when immature or green, but sweetest when it is ripe red. Disease resistant it grows upright to 28 tall and 16 wide and does beautifully in containers. CHOCOLATE BELL SWEET PEPPER Hybrid 75 days Produces 4 by 3½ wide chocolate colored peppers with sweet and crunchy flesh. Peppers turn from green to chocolate brown when mature. A high quality, heavy yielding variety. Bringing variety to the table it is excellent for cooking, in salads and stuffing. CUBANELLE SPICY/SWEET PEPPER 68 days Considered to be a sweet pepper, despite having a mild spicy heat. Great for stuffing, roasting, salads, etc. Thin walled, long, tapered peppers have more flavor & a lower water content than bell peppers & are the perfect pepper for roasting & frying. Best when picked green but can also be left to mature until they turn orange red. FLORAL GEM HOT PEPPER 65 days This hard to find variety is an early producer of small waxy yellow peppers which mature to orange then to red to 1.5 inches long by 0.75 to 1 inches wide, with medium thick flesh. Great for grilling. Pickled in the green state they are known as Torrido peppers to 4000 scoville heat units. GOLDEN BELL SWEET PEPPER 75 days Picture perfect bell peppers ripen from green to light yellow to a deep golden. Sweet, blocky, thick walled fruits are excellent for salads or stuffing. These peppers are beautiful, crisp, and very sweet tasting. HABANERO HOT PEPPER Heirloom 90 days Considered one of the the hottest peppers. Name means "from Havana" produces 1 1/2 to 2" long, wrinkled fruits that turn from dark green to orange when fully ripe. Use very sparingly, & remember to wear gloves when handling. Along with heat, the Habanero pepper also has a very unique, smoky quality that is exceptional in salsas & sauces. HOLY MOLE HOT PEPPER 85 days A 2007 AAS Winner! Pasilla type pepper that has chocolate brown fruits that are bright green at early maturity, then darken to to warm brown 2 weeks later. A distinctive but not overly spicy pepper, used as a staple in Mexico s famous Mole sauce & many other dishes. Crunchy fruits can reach 7 9" in length and 1 1 1/2" in width. Sturdy 3 ft. plants.
