2 WHITE WINE SELECTION BY THE GLASS We love our wines and we would love you to try them, that is why we offer the seldom seen 125ml measure, perfect to experiment and indulge yourself with. 125ml 175ml 250ml Bottle 13 Chardonnay, Reserve, Old Vines Le Sanglier de la Montagne - France This chardonnay comes from the wild and remote hills in the sunny South of France. It is a fresh and aromatic un-oaked wine with distinct hints of citrus fruit. In an off dry style this wine will suit most pallets. 14 Sauvignon Blanc, B Vin de Pays de Valle de Loire - France This wine is very aromatic on the nose with notes of pineapple and apricot. It shows good mineral depths and intensity on the palate which make it a highly quaffable alternative that easily bears comparison with many a Sancerre. It has a fragrant nettley character on the palate, along with a crisp acidity on the dry finish. 15 Pinot Grigio, Carlo Damiani, Veneto - Italy We urge you to try our Pinot Grigio as it is seriously good there are numerous options out there but we believe we have chosen very well. Fantastic with seafood or shellfish and a great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc. 19 Muscadet Sèvre S et Maine, Château de La Bigotiere, Loire - France If ever a wine could be chosen for summer then this is it. Bright, fresh and wonderfully dry with a delicate spritz. Forget the Muscadet produced in the eighties this is a delight! 20 Gruner Veltliner, Scloss Gobelsburger, Loesstre - Austria Gruner Veltliner is a serious grape, with aromas of white pepper and delicate spice. Don t think Germany, think dry and crisp, and a great food white!

3 CLASSIC AND MORE COMPLEX WHITES Rich and textural, not overtly fruity and natural partners to oak. Made for richer white meat and fish dishes and butter based sauces. 21 Mâcon Uchizy,, Domaine Talmard, Burgundy - France Chardonnay from a father and son combination whose Domaine lies in the small town of Uchizy in the Maconnais. A pure and refreshing style, achieved by early picking of ripe grapes whilst they still have good levels of acidity and fermented using stainless steel only. Chardonnay without a cloak of oak. 22 Sancerre, Domaine Dezat, Loire Valley - France Sauvignon Blanc from its classical spiritual home, the Loire Valley. Aromatic and vibrant Sauvignon at its very best. Bottle Magnum Chablis, 1er Cru Les Vaillons,, Domaine Billaud-Simon Simon,, Burgundy - France Domaine Billaud-Simon own some of the best Chablis Vineyards, in a number of 1er and Grand Cru sites. The majority of the domaine`s wines see no oak at all, with the aim being to produce Chablis of elegance, purity, balance and freshness. This is a beautiful example of what that Cru status should give you Chardonnay at its best! ROS OSÉ WINE Rosés have changed so much in the last few years so we have chosen two that are great as aperitifs, whilst also being a lighter, drier style making them more food friendly. 125ml 175ml 250ml Bottle 24 Ciconia, Rosé Alentejo - Portugal A wonderfully balanced, fruity rosé with luscious red Berry flavours and just a touch of sweetness. 25 Pinot Grigio Rosé,, Carlo Damiani, Veneto - Italy By leaving the coppery hued skins of the Pinot Grigio grapes with the juice, you get a delicate pink with great flavour. 26 Gamay/Pinot Noir Rosé, Les Volcans, Caves Saint Verny, Loire - France The obvious choice would be a Provencal rosé, but then we don t like to do the obvious! From the Puy de Dome, one of Frances newest appellations, a gentle, very light and elegant rosé perfect when the sun shines, great as an aperitif or with light starters.

4 RED WINE SELECTION BY THE GLASS 125ml 175ml 250ml Bottle 31 Pinot Noir, Reserve, Nostros, Casablanca Valley - Chile Finding good Pinot Noir from outside of Burgundy has become our wine merchants Holy Grail. We think he has done very well with the example, fruit laden, low tannins and just a wonderful drink. 28 Merlot, GB43, Grant Burge - Australia A good Merlot should be soft, jammy and plummy with good structure and not too much tannin our choice is just that! 29 Carlos Reynolds, Julian Reynolds,, Alentejo - Portugal If you re a Rioja fan and want something with just a bit more depth, and riper fruit, then look no further. Magnum The vineyard lies 20 miles away from the Spanish border, where Julian Reynolds (a slate merchant of note) lives his passion of making one of Portugal s great wines. LIGHT IGHTER ER, EASY DRINKING RINKING, ROUNDED AND SOFT REDS With gentle tannin levels, mellow and soft making them good all round food-pairing options ideal with lighter meat and game dishes. 32 Fleurie.. Montee la Tonne, Domaine Manoir de Carra, Beaujolais - France Fleurie is the epitome of a Beaujolais Cru silky, soft, very smooth and very drinkable 33 Cote de Beaune Villages, Domaine Bachey-Legros, Burgundy - France A family owned Domaine with a treasure chest of vineyards across some of the very best villages in the Côte de Beaune. Concentrated Pinot Noir with gentle tannins but with enough body!

5 FULL BODIED ODIED, RICH ICH, SPICY AND HEARTY REDS Rich and tannic but also savoury wines which are transformed when partnered with rich meat and savoury dishes Bottle 30 Chateau Vieux Peyrequet, Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux - France From the 2011 vintage, a Merlot dominated blend from one of France s most famous and best loved wine regions, Saint-Emilion in Bordeaux. 34 Malbec, Kaiken,, Mendoza - Argentina A big wine packed full of rich, dark fruit flavours. A hearty red Which would partner a nice meat platter perfectly! 35 Shiraz, Cranswick Estate, Barossa Valley - Australia The Rhone Valley s famous grape does particularly well in Australia. Spice, black fruits and a dusting of pepper are all found in this rich wine. 36 Cotes du Rhone, Domaine de l Espigouette, Rhone - France As a Gigondas and Vacqueyras producer Domaine de l Espigouette don t produce ordinary Cote-du-Rhone; with structure and depth think more of Châteaneuf-du-Pape. 37 Chateau Musar, Bekaa Valley Lebanon A truly outstanding wine with a very distinct style all of its own, Concentrated plum and blackberry fruit flavours with hints of fig and prune are accompanied by distinct licorice and spice. Firm but fine tannins with good acidity and body.
