Wines presented at the festival are available to purchase and go fast! Find your favorite and be sure to get your order in at our on-site store. Additionally, relish bites from local restaurants, as well as local delights from artisan makers in Skagit County. Stop by and chat with knowledgeable volunteers at our Anacortes Visitor Center located at 819 Commercial Avenue to help you get to know our city. Dining spots abound in Anacortes, ranging from fast food to a number of award-winning gourmet restaurants. The Skagit Valley, which adjoins the city, is a major source of fresh fruits and vegetables. The waters around Fidalgo Island are a significant fishery. Various cuisines are well-representedprepare yourself for an excellent meal. After dinner, enjoy music at one of several venues throughout town. Live entertainment is offered most nights, generally with no cover. You have an excellent opportunity to hear regional and local musicians in a relaxing environment, a walk or short drive from your hotel room. 4 Adrice Wines Adrice Wines is where we make small handcrafted batches of amazing wines. We started in 2012 in Napa, California when winemaker Pamela Adkins produced our first Rosé the Riveter Rosé with Napa Sangiovese grapes. We only made 19 cases and didn t even label the bottles except for handwriting Adrice Wines on each bottle along with a signature of the winemaker! Now we produce 1,500 cases and do unique varietals such as Nebbiolo, Montepulciano, Baco Noir and several single varietals along with award winning Cabernets and Merlots. Several of our wines have won double gold and silver medals in national and international competitions. The Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce they will co-produce the new Anacortes Boat & Yacht Show at the Port of Anacortes Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes, May 17-20, Help us celebrate our marine heritage at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival June 2-3. This familyfriendly event features a car show, children s area, free boat rides, vendors, food, entertainment and more. Look for treasure July 21 at the Shipwreck Festival. This event started 38 years ago when commercial fishermen sold their used gear as yard art. Today it s a massive community garage sale with flea and antique vendors as well. Plan to attend the Anacortes Arts Festival, August 3-5. Enjoy fine art, crafts, music, and art demonstrations. Sunday, September 23rd is the 37th Annual Oyster Run Come early and stay all day!
