3 Terroirs Originels Back in 1998, seven visionary and passionate growers got together to form Terroirs Originels with the aim to showcase the immense potential of Cru Beaujolais wines. In the meantime, this organization has grown to 30 grower members. Above all, Terroirs Originels is a human story uniting these artisan growers, sharing the same passion and the strong ambition to craft terroir driven wines. What is terroir? To the growers of Terroirs Originels, it is a sense of place and time captured in a glass of wine. All member estates exclusively work with grapes grown on their own vineyards. They farm their land following sustainable, organic, or biodynamic principles with the common commitment towards preserving their heritage. As a result, production levels are kept low with the focus on preserving the terroir, as opposed to an exponential increase in size. We are pleased to offer you through Enotri this unique selection of premium Cru Beaujolais wines from six different cru vineyards. 7 Robert Perroud Human experience is what motivates and drives me to collaborate with others who share a common passion. The creation of Terroirs Originels 20 years ago allowed me to fully invest myself in the search for excellence from vine to glass. What inspires me more than anything is the nature with which I like to feel in harmony. My house is surrounded by vineyards and I still use the same cellar as my father and grandfather! Origin The steep slopes of the Balloquets are planted with wild flowers, and characterized by amethyst crystals located underground, embedded in red quartz granite rocks. It is here that my 75-year old vines are planted and it is thanks to this unique soil that they give me the Pollen cuvée. A refined pleasure. In the Glass Deep garnet colour. A nose of blackberries, gingerbread, and garrigue. Round and smooth on the palate, with velvety tannins. The finish is long, smooth with notes of roasting and vanilla. 9 Pascal aufranc Off the beaten track, my domain is located in an old traditional farm in the middle of beautiful stone houses overlooking the village. Perched on the hill from Remont to Chénas, I am surrounded by forest, fields, and vineyards. This mosaic of landscapes surprises me every day and gives my wines a singular and harmonious expression. Origin At the end of the road, a preserved and confidential terroir with 80-year old vines surrounded by woods and fields. Planted on a mixture of quartz, sand and decomposing granite. The oldest vines of my estate strive year after year to draw their resources from the depths of this land and offer me the best of themselves. In the Glass Dark garnet colour with blue reflections. The nose presents notes of black fruits and spices such as cinnamon. A very round and generous mouth, marked by soft tannins and a long and fresh finish. 11 Lucien lardy Coming from a family of four children, I was the only one to choose the profession of Vine Grower. My father left me a wonderful legacy that I wanted to honour and preserve. I have the chance to act as guardian of a French heritage as part of my daily work. Every day, I get up with the sun to watch over my vineyard and ensure its durability. It gives me a strong sense of pride and freedom. Origin Sand and pink granite make up the Chênes soil, giving my 75-year old vines the potential to offer a Gamay with a lot of freshness and a beautiful structure. Yohan, my son, wanted to extract as much as possible the characteristics of the grapes from this plot while softening the tannins by a long aging in neutral oak barrels thus offering you this concentrated vintage of the terroir les Chênes. In the Glass Garnet red colour with purple tints. The nose presents notes of grape and blackcurrant, with iris flowers. The mouth is full and rich, with a tender sweetness, notes of black fruits, floral, and spicy. A beautiful mineral spine and a fresh and fruity finish! 13 Laurent Gauthier I consider myself lucky to live here in Morgon, where I was born and I want to keep this authentic spirit. I express it through my wines to ensure the durability of my vineyard and thus pass it on to my children as I received it from my father. I do not hesitate to break my back to be closer to my vines, firmly rooted in a soil rich in history and tradition. The pride I have today has grown over time and a unique know-how that I have refined year after year with the lessons nature has given me. Origin At the foot of the Côte du Py are the Grands Cras plots, a magnificent terroir composed of compacted sediments from the Côte du Py (a mixture of schist, metamorphic rock and clay) and decomposing granite. This unique blend with the 70-year old vines, produces wines with great character and complexity! In the Glass Deep garnet red colour. Very complex wine, powerful and fleshy, with notes of kirsch, tobacco, cassis, and minerals. With more opening, the wine presents notes of candied strawberries and cherries. The finish is very velvety and persistent. Intense and Burgundian like a Pinot Noir! Food Pairing Grilled black angus meat, red meat and game in sauce, burger, chili con carne, and all kinds of slightly spicy dishes like pepper and ground meat pizza or cassoulet. 14 Moulin à Vent les michelons 2016

15 Yohan lardy I created my estate with 2 hectares of old vines on the heights of the Moulin à Vent appellation. Every day my vines allow me to learn a little more about each terroir I cultivate. I try to express them as well as possible by practicing a viticulture of the most durable. All my grapes are picked by hand and my wines vinified with indigenous yeasts without sulphites. Origin Very old vines planted between 1911 and 1950 on the climate called Les Michelons on the heights of the Cru Moulin à Vent. The soil is very fine, lean, with crumbled pink granite rich in manganese mineral iron. To express this magnificent terroir, I age my wines for at least 10 months in Burgundy barrels in order to obtain the best balance between fruit and acidity. In the Glass Dark carmine red robe with red cherry highlights. The nose is a subtle mix of kirsch, blueberry, and licorice. The palate is bright, with fineness and supple tannins. Food Pairing Grilled or roasted prime rib, roasted poultry or in sauce, spicy chorizo pork burger, traditional coq au vin or beef bourguignon. Roots Matter enotri.com

It is my luxury to live here, where nature instils a different understanding of the time when patience and tenacity reigned. I like to pamper my vineyards, which are the heritage of conscious men and women, and that is why each sip of my wine brings out pleasure and truth. Origin This cuvée comes from 50-year old vines planted on granitic and alluvial soils typical of the Saint Amour appellation. Thanks to this unique terroir, my objective is to offer you a sensual cuvée that charms with notes of crunchy red berries before surprising you with sweet spicy notes. In the Glass Deep ruby color. Let yourself be seduced by the aromatic palette of red and black fruits. The mouth is round and balanced. One finds the basket of red fruits, in particular cherry and a bouquet of spices.
