For us, that s quality food and wine, and experiencing the beauty of the coast, bush and forest on the Cape to Cape track. A New Way to Walk Walk into Luxury was founded on the belief that a luxury walking holiday can be enjoyed in many ways, and the traditional group walk model may not suit all travellers. That s why we have set out to create a new way to walk, where guests have the freedom to choose between our private luxury walks, which can be undertaken with or without your own private guide, and our more traditional guided small group walk. That s not the only Walk into Luxury difference though. Why we are different Each walk into luxury is all-inclusive. Although this is not unique in itself, the standard of our inclusions set us apart. From the exclusive dining experiences with premium wines to the award winning wines and boutique beer selections in your oceanfront pool villa, even your custom-made insulated pack, it s all been thought of and it s all included. 3 THE CAPE TO CAPE TRACK Rounding a peak, we draw breath at the vista of the cobalt Indian Ocean meeting honey-hued sands and peoplefree swimming spots. One of these, The Aquarium, is a local favourite and as I glide through its bottle-green water, glimpsing rocks through crystalline liquid, I can see why. Back on the trail, the air is stung with the perfume of native shrubs and the longer lasting scent of some 2500 wildflower species. Quote from Australian Traveller article on Walk into Luxury and its Ultra-Luxe Walks, April-May 2014 edition The Cape to Cape track is located in Australia s South-West, in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. The track covers 135kms of coast line from Cape Naturaliste (near Yallingup) in the North, to Cape Leeuwin (near Augusta) in the South. Located within the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, the track winds along pristine beaches and dramatic coastal cliffs, as well as through coastal bush that comes alive with wildflowers in the Spring. The magnificent karri trees of Boranup forest provide a great contrast, and Cape Leeuwin, which is also the meeting point of two oceans the Indian and Southern provides a unique terminus to the track. The terrain is a combination of white sand, limestone cliffs, granite rock, old 4wd tracks, sealed paths and bushy track. The sections of the Cape to Cape track used by Walk into Luxury are rated as moderate, with a couple of easier sections around Sugarloaf Rock and Boranup forest providing a breather. For the nature lover, there is no shortage of wildlife and plant variety on the Cape to Cape track. The area is a world biodiversity hotspot, with approximately 30% of the plant life found nowhere else in the world. There are magnificent wildflowers along the track in Spring and an abundance of birdlife year round. Dolphins are regularly seen playing in the waves, and whales cruise the ocean alongside the track from June to December. Kangaroos and emus are not uncommon, and the impressive Southern Heath Monitor lizard is occasionally seen (or heard) rummaging in the bushes.

Guests on our 8 day walk experience a sublime four course tasting menu with four matching wines from Leeuwin s award-winning Art Series range. Wills Domain Wills Domain is a multi award winning Estate winery with onsite Restaurant, Cellar Door and Art Gallery. The 60 Ha Estate is set amongst the picturesque rolling hills of the Gunyulgup Valley where you can relax to enjoy some of the best views in the region. 13 ONE DAY WALK INTO LUXURY PACKAGE a new way to walk The walk Guests will enjoy a scenic 2-3 hour private walk along a spectacular section of the Cape to Cape track between pristine Injidup beach and surf mecca, Smiths Beach. From Injidup, your walk takes you north past vibrant granite formations, lagoon-like coves and limestone cliffs. The track continues through scenic bushland taking in the impressive Canal Rocks landmark and several scenic lookouts, before reaching the rocky headland signaling the start of Smiths Beach.
