This is due to work being undertaken to connect the newly installed generator (see photo page). The work will be done whilst residents and staff celebrate Australia Day with a BBQ lunch in the Main Room. A portable generator will be on site to run essential equipment. Every effort will be made to keep residents and staff comfortable during this power outage. LIFESTYLE Birthdays in January: Happy Birthday to the following residents: 22 January Catharina Van der Klaauw 30 January Nelly Kempen Resident Feedback This week s Residents Meeting held on Wednesday 17 January was attended by 2 residents and 2 staff members. The following was discussed: Residents have been invited to contribute suggestions to the Autumn Menu. General comments regarding catering which were forwarded to Hotel Services Coordinator. Residents were notified of the installation of the new generator. Podiatry Services Kiyanoush will visit Rembrandt Court for podiatry services on Monday 15 January and Monday 29 January. Residents podiatry consults are reviewed every 10 weeks or as required please see the nurse if this is required before the 10 week schedule. VOLUNTEERS - WE NEED YOU! Do you love a chat? The social connections we make via simple conversations can mean a lot. Not every resident has regular visitors and companionship in a group environment can improve a person s self esteem and overall wellbeing. We also seek volunteers to assist our lifestyle team with residents activities, outings or assist in the Rembrandt Court Kleine Café. By generously giving your passion, energy and expertise as a volunteer, you can help us continue to enrich the lives of our residents..
