Oaks is one of the oldest plantations in the region located in Sonada Valley. Goomtee Spring Oolong (24.00/45.00/87.00 FF) This tea has a complex flavour that combines the fruity-floral aroma of a first flush Darjeeling with all the character of an oolong. Brews a rich yellow liquor with a wonderful flowery, fruity, muscatel-sweet fragrance and almost no astringency. Sikkim Temi TGFOP1 (21.00/39.00/75.00 SF) This later season tea has a colourful leaf with lots of tip. It brews an amber cup, highly aromatic and spicy to taste. Assam Tirupati SFTGFOP1 Cl Spl (13.00/25.00/48.00 NEW) Meleng Golden Tips (21.00/39.00/75.00 SF) The large leaf has abundant golden tip that yields an amber brew with hints of warm, sweet spices and malt. Colonel s Assam Full coloured, bright, cuppy tea with distinct malty flavour from the Assam region of India Borpatra GFBOPS (13.00/25.00/48.00 SF-RA) The well graded orthodox leaf with a modicum of tip is perfect as a breakfast get-me-up. The tea estate is located in the Sibsagar district, with the Dilli River forming the northern border. Ten Gardens We can t name them all! Take a step back in time to enjoy the traditional British cuppa of 100% Assam CTC tea. An old favourite returning to the catalogue. This orthodox, full leaf tea brews an aromatic cup with medium body and full colour. Latumoni Summer Royal Tippy Gold (26.00/49.00/95.00 SF) A fine rare second flush crafted tea from a small farm, it has golden tips and leaves of faded golden appearance. Namdang BP Quality and appearance make this a good example of an Assam manufactured by the CTC method. It cups well with milk producing an even, strong and deep coloured infusion. Bihar Doke Black Fusion (26.00/49.00/95.00 FF) Of the Assamica cultivar, this tea is hand-picked and hand-rolled. Brews delightfully smooth with an aroma of cooked sugar and spice. Look for notes of malt, currants and a finish of grapefruit. 3

Doke Rolling Thunder Oolong (18.00/34.00/65.00 O) From Bihar province of India along the Doke River; this oolong has an almost Assam-like malty, honeyed flavour with undertones of grape. Nilgiri Parkside FOP Reminiscent of Ceylon tea but with a mellow and generally smoother character. The taste is round and soft, fruity and aromatic; nicely balanced with a hint of earthiness. Nilgiri BOP Tea is grown at high elevation in the Blue Mountains, typically above 5000 feet. These teas are brisk, pungent and full-bodied often compared to those of Ceylon. China Green Tea Powder (12.00/23.00/44.00/16.00 Tin) Though perfected by the Japanese over 1000 years ago, green tea powder (matcha) originated by way of Zen Buddhism. Made with the powdered leaves that have undergone minimal oxidation. Keemun Mao Feng Black This superior, full leaf grade of Keemun is a variety that is carefully processed so the shape resembles that of Mao Feng green tea. Fujian Mutan Silver Tips (18.00/34.00/65.00) White tea with a delicate peony flavour, displaying long silver tips. Unrolled and unfermented, a unique tea. White Monkey Otherwise known as Baimao Hou, this is a delicate green tea named after the appearance of the leaves which are said to resemble the hands of a white-haired monkey. Organic Shui Hsien Oolong (18.00/34.00/65.00) This traditional oolong has natural orchid-like flavour with a lingering fragrance and possesses a clear, bright, amber colour. Goddess of Mercy Premium (18.00/34.00/65.00) Brewed in traditional Yixing pots this oolong is fragrant, fruity and delicate. It sports curled leaves and can be infused several times. Lapsang Souchong Superior Grade (21.00/39.00/75.00 O) A high grade, tippy leaf gives this classic smoked tea a more refined and nuanced character. China Lapsang Souchong Full charcoal smokiness, dark and thick, Lapsang Souchong with a large leaf brews an esoteric cup. Wild Lapsang Souchong (18.00/34.00/65.00 O) From the Wuyi mountains, where the highest trees grow at 2158m, tea plants can be more than 200 years old. It is not smoked but pine tree branches are used to dry the tea, giving the leaves a pine and honey-like flavour. Lichee Congou A large leaf, black China scented tea with a very characteristic flavour derived from the fruit. Dà Hóng Páo fragrant finish. (28.00/53.00/103.00) This legendary tea, a Wuyi Rock Oolong, is offered as a premium grade tea brewing a deep gold/amber cup. The taste is smooth with a Rose Congou Scented by rose petals to give a fragrant tea with delicate aroma and taste on the palate. 5

Guangdong Dan Cong Single Trunk Black (36.00/69.00/135.00) A remarkable wild growing tea from the Phoenix Mountains. Brews smooth and sweet with distinct dried fruit notes (think grapefruit and peach). Yunnan Ancient Baked Heart Green (21.00/39.00/75.00 O) Growing at elevations of 6,000 to 7,200 feet on Wu Liang Mountain; this tea is harvested from ancient tea trees that produce a high quality green tea. The liquor is a light, golden green with medium body, notes of toasted rice and wild flowers. Ancient Artisan Bi Luo Chun (32.00/61.00/ O) Toasted pine nut taste with a light sweet finish. This tea has a heartier, more full body than Bi Luo Chun from other regions. Black Luo Cha Snail Shape (21.00/39.00/75.00 O) Tea leaves carefully rolled into the shape of a spiral. The infusion produces an amber-colored liquor that is as smooth as aged Pu-erh tea and has a malty sweet taste and lovely fragrance with a hint of chocolate and flowers. Mengku Valley Raw Pu Erh (24.00/45.00/87.00 O) This long and twisted raw pu erh is picked from rare, big leaf trees which grow at a staggering elevation of 7,200 feet on Wuliang Mountain, the youngest being 'only' 150 years old. Bright, golden liquor with notes of tobacco and earthy wildness. Yunnan Green Pagoda A mild-flavoured artisan tea made with a large leaf variety giving steady fragrance and an elegant after taste. Yunnan Moonlight White The leaves are taken from trees over 400 years old... This white tea has long leaves, white on one side and shadowy grey on the other. Yunnan Organic Green (16.00/30.00/57.00 O) Look at the small needle green leaves of many shades - this is a classic green tea from a province most noted for black. We think you will give it the thumbs up! Black Dragon Ball Hong Long Zhu (28.00/53.00/103.00) This special tea is completely handcrafted by rolling the highest quality leaves and buds. When steeped, each ball will slowly unfurl resembling blossoming flowers. The taste is mellow with a touch of earthiness and subtle cocoa notes. Yunnan Mao Jian (30.00/57.00/ O) Grown on cloud enveloped hillsides where tea was first cultivated, this black tea has long large golden tips and infuses to give a light, yellow liquor which is refreshing and smooth to the palate. 10 Year Pu Erh (24.00/45.00/87.00) Crafted from a big leaf tea of brown or dark red colour which imparts a sweet, mellow flavour and properties associated with longevity. Pu Erh We stock a matured variety having the full earthy qualities you expect from an aged tea! Mini Tuo Cha Small individually wrapped cakes of Pu Erh. Just right for a mug of tea, the leaves can be re-infused up to three or four times. Pu Erh Cake (40.00/350g) The tea is formed into a flat cake and left to age. Four Seasons Jasmine Oolong Known as Si Ji Chun, the Four Seasons Spring tea bush cultivar, this oolong thrives at middle elevations in Taiwan's central highlands. Organic GABA Oolong (21.00/39.00/75.00 O) Organic GABA oolong is a light and refreshing tea with crisp fruit flavours and a hint of bubbly creaminess. Its unusual method of processing involves exposure to a nitrogen rich environment. Yame Gyokuro (44.00/50g O) A prized gyokuro tea with long, fine leaves infusing to give a jade green liquor that is smooth and flavourful. Gyokuro Asahi (58.00/113.00/223.00) This hand-made rarity has long pine needle-shaped, dark green leaves and infuses a clear light yellow with fresh grass scent and a highly aromatic taste.
