2 The brand COSTA NOVA is a Portuguese brand belonging to GRESTEL, a company dedicated to designing and manufacturing tableware and accessories made of fine stoneware since 1998, using the best natural resources in Portugal. Launched in 2006 COSTA NOVA opened a new chapter in the company s journey, showcasing unique, timeless and simultaneously trendy collections that reflect the European heritage in ceramics and celebrate all that is irresistibly Mediterranean.

3 Tradition, innovation & Design A unique assortment of European craft tradition, high-quality material and unmatched design has enable COSTA NOVA to grown over the last years into a renowned brand for fine stoneware products. Our expertise in designing and producing tableware and accessories relies on an outstanding knowledge of ceramic manufacturing from the very beginning, combined with the best materials and latest technology. Using the finest natural resources in Portugal, COSTA NOVA pieces are made in a single firing system heated up to 1180 ºC (2160 ºF) which allows to create a unique ceramic body with a special bonding between the clay and the glazed surface. This original formula explains why our stoneware is so hard and resistant to both thermal and mechanical shocks. Besides, our team of designers, technicians, modelers and craftsmen are constantly developing original shapes and colors, all the way to truly unique designed and handcrafted pieces.
