2 From Bank To Garden About Ladder & Vine Before Ladder & Vine was a functional urban garden and event space, it was an abandoned bank in an almost deserted mall complex. Jennifer Delaye, founder and owner of Ladder & Vine, saw this as an opportunity to take this space and repurpose it with new meaning and hope to give back to the community. Using aquaponic technology, provided by INTAG, Ladder & Vine is able to grow and provide fresh, local, sustainable food that is used in our sister companies The JDK Group and The Garlic Poet Restaurant and Bar. 3 The Garden Urban Garden & Event Space This redesiged bank houses 2,300 square feet of space for this unique, urban garden that is recognized as the only aquaponic garden for social gatherings, rehearsal dinners, and corporate events in Central Pennsylvania. Every event held at Ladder & Vine has fresh, sustainable food picked right from the garden and incorporated into every plate. Catering Pricing Sheet Ladder & Vine provides a comprehensive catering proposal exclusively from The JDK Group. The proposal includes a fully developed menu, professional service staff, and food station accompaniments. Within the catering proposal coordinating linens and décor, and full table settings (including specialty china, glassware, flatware, napkins, votive, salt & pepper, carafes of water) are provided. Bar and bartenders may be added for an additional charge. Venue & Catering Services Breakdown VENUE RENTAL COST ($125 X Hours) = RENTAL COST ($0.00 X Guest) = FOOD COST ( X Guest) = + 6% SALES TAX = GRAND TOTAL = Catering, Beverage Service, Event Staff, and Rentals are Exclusively Provided by Weddings by JDK, a division of The JDK Group.

8 Ladder & Vine Event Policies When entering Ladder & Vine all guests must tightly shut front door behind them, step on the blue mats, sanitize hands, and hang up any coats in the front entrance before entering the facility. If guests do not uphold to these rules, the client will be responsible and must pay for any damage done to the facility (See check-list provided by Ladder & Vine). Client must sign in and out before entering and exiting the facility. Guests may not touch, step, or put anything into or on the plants/ fish in Ladder & Vine. This will cause the plants and fish to become contaminated which can cause the system to fail. Client will be responsible for paying for these damages if such occur. Client may not bring any live plants into Ladder & Vine, this includes any flowers. Ladder & Vine will not be held liable for lost, damaged, or misplaced personal belongings of event guests. Children of all ages are welcomed guests; however, children under 12 are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Ladder & Vine will not be responsible for the care of or supervision of children. The paying guest is responsible for the safety of all equipment and other property owned by Ladder & Vine or the JDK Group and is liable for such if it is lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced. Decorations may not be attached to or adhered in any way to the building inside or out unless approved by Ladder & Vine. Ladder & Vine has a participating vendors list which is intended to help our clients with that process. With the exception of our designated caterer, you may select any vendor you choose whether or not they appear on our participating vendor list. Each outside vendor must provide their own equipment to perform the necessary functions of their job including tables, extension cords, etc. You purchase your own alcohol for your reception, and it will be served through the JDK Group Catering. This actually saves our clients a tremendous amount of money by avoiding a hefty bar tab at the end of the event. Ladder & Vine is fully insured in a liquor host capacity and the designated caterer has been permitted by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board to serve alcohol at your event. Ladder & Vine only permits professional bar service from the JDK Group. This also means wine and/or other alcohol may not be placed in opened bottles on the tables for consumption. Kegs, bottled beer, wine, cocktails and cordials are permitted on the property (if arranged through designated caterer) while shots of alcohol are not. All bar service for events must be concluded 30 minutes prior to the reception s end, while sodas, coffee and tea may remain available during the last 30 minutes of the reception. Guests are prohibited from taking alcoholic beverages off the premises during the event. At the conclusion of the event, all rentals, belongings, and trash brought to the site must be removed immediately from facility and must be returned to original condition. Client may arrive two hours prior to event start time and must depart the property one hour following event conclusion.
