2 TOUR ITINERARY Tuesday - May 22 nd Attire: Students should wear their Carnegie Hall t-shirts. Dress comfortably for travel, keeping in mind that there will not be time to change at any point during the day. Wear comfortable shoes for walking. 11:20am Those arriving on Southwest Airlines #1267 (110 People): You'll meet your tour managers at baggage claim at LaGuardia Airport and then depart the airport for Manhattan. You will take the subway to your next stop.

You can walk across and see the fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline from the walking path and also from Brooklyn Bridge Park on the other side of the bridge. If weather or time does not permit, you can walk midway across and still see the amazing views. You'll visit Chinatown and Little Italy where you'll have some free time to explore and shop until dinner. Barnum Choir You ll depart from the hotel by subway and visit the Brooklyn Bridge and Chinatown before returning for your rehearsal. You ll take walk on the Brooklyn Bridge. You ll walk to Chinatown & Little Italy. You ll have free time in Chinatown & Little Italy to shop and have lunch. You ll take the subway back You ll arrive at the hotel for rehearsal. (Gramercy Ballroom) Call time 12:30pm. Rehearse 12:45pm until 5pm. After rehearsal you will take the subway to Little Italy for dinner. You'll enjoy an authentic Italian meal in Little Italy. 5 Thursday - May 24 th Attire: Start the day in casual clothing. Students should dress modestly, as if for school. Consider dressing in layers. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Change midday (see itinerary) for Broadway, keeping in mind the 1 mile brisk walk to dinner. You'll have breakfast on your own (not included). A small group may head to Rockefeller Center early in the morning to see the Today Show broadcast. Students should wear their Carnegie t-shirt for this outing. One of your tour managers will be available to take you. Mr. Norris will text more details on Wednesday. 08:30am 12:30pm 01:30pm 02:30pm 03:00pm 4:00pm Barnum Choir - Rehearse 8:45 am until 12:30pm. You will have lunch near Columbus Circle just a short walk from the hotel. You'll visit Central Park. You'll see the Imagine Memorial to John Lennon at Strawberry Fields, the Bethesda Fountain, the Boathouse, the Mall, Sheep Meadow and the Wollman Ice Rink. You'll head down Fifth Avenue to see some of the famous stores and boutiques. You'll see Apple's flagship store and the Plaza Hotel (featured in "Home Alone") and then down Fifth Avenue past Tiffany's and more. You will visit St. Patrick's Cathedral, a massive, masterful Gothic structure set amid Midtown's boutiques. Change midday for Carnegie performance (see itinerary) and reception. You'll enter the line (security does not open until 8AM) for the ferry to Liberty Island where you'll see fantastic views of the Statue of Liberty. You'll take the ferry back to Manhattan (stops at Ellis Island but you will remain on board). You'll walk up through the financial district past the famous "Charging Bull," past Trinity Church and the New York Stock Exchange and then up to the World Trade Center. You'll visit the 9/11 Memorial and have lunch (not included) at Brookfield Place, originally known as the World Financial Center, is a complex of office buildings located across West Street from the World Trade Center in Battery Park City. The lower levels of this office complex have amazing views of the Hudson with shops and eateries. It is home to Le District, a gourmet French market with take out and eat in options.
