2 ITINERARY AND APPLICATION FORM Confectionery and Bakery Breads A special course in English at the renowned Richemont Bakery School, 6006 Luzern, Seeburgstrasse 51 Run in conjunction with the Worshipful Company of Bakers and the Bakers Company Education and Research Foundation London. ITINERARY The Worshipful Company of Bakers reserves the right to amend the detail of this itinerary without notice. Tuesday 2 nd October 2012 Depart UK (as one Group) Arrival at your leisure and check in at the Hotel Seeburg Lucerne Free time Dinner At Local Restuarant Wednesday 3rd October Confectionery Course Sponges, Creams and Fillings Lunch and Dinner at The Hotel Richemont Thursday 4 th October Bakery Course Special Breads Lunch at the Hotel Richemont Dinner at the Hotel Richemont - at which the course lecturers will be our guests in the presence of the Master of The Worshipful Company of Bakers. Friday 5 th October 2012 Walking tour of Bakeries, Patisseries and Cafes in Lucerne The evening is free for delegates to dine at a restaurant of their choice (to be self financed) Saturday 6 th October Depart for UK Organisation: Richemont Bakery Department. Cost is 1,375 plus 20% ( 1,650), inclusive of flights (from designated London Airport only) travel to London at own cost, tuition fees, course book, and four night s accommodation but exclusive of all travel, insurance and subsistence on the Friday night. Fees are payable in advance with the application. Refunds up to one month before departure will be only at the discretion of the Worshipful Company of Bakers. Applicants are reminded that they represent the UK Baking Industry and The Worshipful Company Of Bakers and their conduct should be appropriate at all times. Employer s Name, Address and Contact Numbers (if sponsored) APPLICATION I wish to apply to join the Bakers Company Special Course on Confectionery and Bakery (Special Breads)to be run in English at the Richemont Bakery School Lucerne, Switzerland between Tuesday 2nd October and Saturday 6 th October 2012 I understand that the course fee of 1,375 (plus 20% = 1,650) is payable in advance and is inclusive of flights, from the designated London Airport (travel to London at your own cost) tuition and Four nights accommodation commencing on Tuesday 2 nd October. I undertake to check in at the hotel, Seeburg, Lucerne before hours local time on Tuesday 2nd October. I also understand that I will be responsible for all my own travel insurance necessary for me to attend (including volcanic ash/bad weather event) and any subsistence costs necessary for non-course days with the exception of the inclusive Welcome Dinner. It is intended that we shall fly from London as one group. Please provide with your application a signed statement from your college/employer confirming they will be prepared to release you to attend this course. Candidates for this three-day course will be supplied with a bakers Tops, Trousers, Apron & Hat (included in the cost) and are expected to bring their own black bakery/catering safety shoes.
