2 VENUE SEATING OPTIONS ENTRE VENUE BUYOUT THE DEN Seated: up to 225 people Reception: 325 people Seated: Up to 12 Reception: 20 THE PRIVATE DINING ROOM Seated: up to 60 Reception: 70 The Private Dining Room is located on the northwest corner of Roots on the main floor. It provides a view into the kitchen through our glass windows where guests can watch the pizzas being hand tossed. Accordion style glass doors open up onto our beautiful patio and provide a great ambience for all types of parties. Two 55 LED flatscreens provide additional ambience and are also available for DVDs and presentations. THE SECOND FLOOR Seated: up to 80 Reception: 100 The Second Floor is located directly above our bakery and is accessible from both restaurants. Featuring a large, fully stocked private bar, this room can be personalized for any type of event. In the summer, this room overlooks our rooftop deck and gardens. THE WEST TOWN ROOFTOP CLUB Seated: Up to 150 Reception: 200 Overlooking Chicago Avenue and our rooftop gardens, this space s plush environment is not only Wicker Park/ Bucktown/West Town s only rooftop deck, but also one of its nicest outdoor areas. With a completely customizable food and drink menu, this space is perfect for any type of party, wedding, or business retreat. This space can also be combined with the Mezzanine for an even larger capacity. Located in the heart of Roots is a semi-private area complete with a working gas fireplace and a private 55 LED flat screen that can be customized for your event. The Den is popular for smaller crowds that want to experience the energy of the main dining room of Roots, but may not have a large enough group for our larger private spaces. THE NORTHEAST CORNER Seated: Up to 20 Reception: 30 The Northeast Corner of Roots is a semi-private area overlooking Chicago Avenue with glass garage doors and two private 55 LED flatscreens that can be customized for the type of event. Popular for crowds that want to experience the energy of the main dining room of Roots and that don t have groups large enough for a completely private space.

6 OUR ADDITIONAL SERVICES TV/DVD/AV Each event space has multiple 1080i HDTV flat screen televisions. We can arrange to have your favorite sports game or television show playing during the event. We also have DVD capabilities. Most rooms have a separate sound system and depending on your space, we can also bring in a DJ. MICROPHONES We have microphone capabilities that we can set up for your event. CAKES Our sister restaurant Bleeding Heart Bakery & Café has a wide selection of organic cakes made with local sustainable ingredients with many various flavor profiles to fit your needs and those of your guests. Our food network chefs, Michelle and Vinny Garcia also have the ability to create custom 2D and 3D cakes. Depending on your budget, we can create a cake for you. We also have a wide selection of other pastries and baked goods that we can offer. RECEPTION TABLES For whatever purpose you need, we are happy to set up a reception table and chairs at the entry to your event. THEMED EVENTS Fundraisers, charity events, or just plain ol birthday parties are often themed and we will work with you to meet your needs. We can also do pizza parties for kids during limited times during the week. DIRECTIONS FROM I-94: Take the Division street exit and go west. Go South on Ashland and then West on Chicago Avenue.
