1 WELCOME B O R N I L Bornil means colorful, serving great traditional and authentic Bangladeshi food, which refers to a long culinary tradition that emphasizes on fish and rice, vorta and curry, all variations caused by the history and geography of our country. In the area of Chittagong and the Southern region, Ziafat and Mezbaan food feasts are very popular. Characteristic heavy dishes rich in animal fat and dairy are served here. Saltwater fish and seafood are quiet prevalent in these areas also. Shutki or dried fish is more available here than in other parts of Bangladesh. Bangla food is typically rich and spicy. Typically spices used are turmeric, ginger, cumin, fenugreek, coriander and cardamom. FOOD SERVED Bornil menu consists of authentic recipes of classic dishes from throughout Bangladesh. The Bornil menu are creations based on centuries long culinary history presented with classical condiments. The key word in our food is simplicity, and it represents traditional home cooking.
