1 MENU Rice, salad, mango chutney and raita are included in all main dishes as well as traditional Bengali home cooking. Shanti has a low fat cuisine concept, i.e. we hardly use any butter or cream in our cooking (up to 5 %). Vegetable oil, Turkish yoghurt and coconut milk have instead a significant role. Dall Poori with Alo Chop (lakto-ovo vegetarian or vegan) 85:- Deep-fried light bread with a lentil filling served with a crispy potato ball, coriander chutney, plum chutney & raita on the side. Peckish Tandoori chicken leg with murg kofta or Vera kofta 160:- Vera and Murg means lamb and chicken in Bengali. In this dish, we present a tandoori grilled chicken leg with either a chicken kofta or lamb kofta on the side served with raita, plum chutney and coriander chutney. Zahl Halim (2 chilies) 160:- Chunks of lamb stake fillet with several kinds of lentils, coriander, cumin & mint. 2 Traditional Bengali home cooking Sharisha mas 210:- Cod fillet with a sauce based on yellow mustard seeds, lime leaves, coriander & green chili. Bengali Lotpoti 160:- A Bengali delicacy! This is a curry with chicken lever and chicken heart with a chana daal, coriander & chili. Homely Bengal (1 chili) 175:- Four small dishes: omelet, fried eggplant, crushed fried potato, lentil daal, fried fish with coriander & chili. Begun Maser Zohl (2 chilies) 210:- Cod with coriander, aubergine, potatoes, sugar peas & chili in a tomato based curry sauce. Bengali Salmon Curry (1 chili) 199:- 210:- Fresh salmon fillet with tomato, chili, coriander, turmeric, sugar peas, broccoli & potato. Chicken korma with potato 190:- Chunks of chicken fillets and potato halves in a mild and tender korma sauce with cashewand pistachio nuts, coconut milk, ginger and garlic. Bengali lamb chop curry 210:- Grilled lamb chops in a curry sauce with small potatoes. Fish Seafood Shanti s fish & seafood is always fresh and our shrimps are either ASC or MSC certified. Red & White Fish Grill 210:- Chunks of salmon and cod fillets served on a hot sizlar iron plate on a bed of fried vegetables. Served with tikka sauce on the side. Salmon curry with mango 210:- Chunks of salmon fillets with mango in a korma sauce with fresh ginger, garlic, coconut milk, coriander & lime. Malai Chingri 210:- Shrimps in coconut milk, fresh coriander, chili, cinnamon and lime. Shrimp Bhuna (2 chilies) 210:- Shrimps in curry sauce garnished with coriander & deep-fried onion. Zahl Maser Korma (1 chili) 210:- Shrimps and chunks of salmon and cod with chili and coriander in a korma sauce with cashew nuts. Fish Biryani 210:- Fish Biryani is a festive dish that we eat in Bangladesh during feasts. The dish consists of fried seasoned rice with salmon and is garnished with a boiled egg, a fish kofta and a traditional Bengali sauce. Served with the yoghurt drink mint lassi. Hot Indi Fish (2 chilies) 210:- Seasoned rice with cod fillet, habanero, cumin, ginger, lime & herbs cooked in a Kerala-way.

3 Tandoori grill Sizler The tandoori dishes are prepared in a circular clay oven, which is called tandoori and reaches over 400 degrees Celsius. Sizlar is the cast iron plate our tandoori dishes are served on. Included in all of our tandoori dishes are fried vegetables, rice, salad, chutney & raita. Classic Tandoori Chicken 180:- Chicken leg marinated in paprika, cumin, chili & coriander. Served with tikka sauce on the side. Murg Kofta Sizlar 190:- Murg is the mane of chicken in Bengali. These chicken koftas are small patties are served with tikka sauce and fried vegetables on the side. Lime Chicken Grill 190:- Chicken fillet marinated in lime, coriander, lemon grass and lemon pepper. Served with a tikka sauce & a chicken kofta on the side. 4 Vegetarian dishes Paneer grill sizlar (lakto-ovo vegetarian) 199:- Large grilled marinated & grilled paneer cubes on a hot sizlar iron plate on a bed of fried vegetables with tikka sauce on the side. 5 Poultry 5% lamb broth has also been added to all of our chicken casseroles after discovering that the dishes got a more rustic and advance flavor by doing that. 6 Thali Thali means plate and is a dish consisting of several small delicious dishes. Kofta Mixed Thali 195:- Kofta mix with the fillings: moglai lamb, chicken, fish and vegetarian. 7 Lamb All of our casseroles have chunks of fillets from whole lamb steaks. In Bengali and Indian cooking the lamb curries contain lamb chops with bones to extract more flavor.
